This is an AMAZING property! Quality all the way through! Best kitchen utensils, hardware and appliances of any rental I’ve been to. Feels like a home away from home. It was very clean and well kept. Quality comfy couch and a solid large tv. Comfy quality patio furniture that we used to enjoy the gorgeous view. Private and quiet area but a quick 30 to the cozy downtown of New Bern. Bed was comfy too. Master shower was small but there was a nice large garden tub.Best part was the well equipped kitchen and the awesome view out the back.Host was very responsive and helped with all questions we had.

Everything we needed and wanted

We scheduled 5 days for a family beach vacation (me, my wife, and our 12 year old) and found this listing online while looking at much more expensive beachfront properties on the outer banks. I sent it to my wife and said “how about a private beach for a fraction of the price?” I kept trying to find the catch. There wasn’t one. The property manager was excellent with communication. The house is in a small town about 20 minutes from groceries but the amenities are excellent. The private beach was perfect as was the covered dock. Our 12 year old spent large parts of the day under the cover of the dock reading. My wife and I shared sunrises with coffee from the espresso machine in the kitchen. Dinners on the back porch with the outdoor fans were wonderful. Next summer we’re planning to go to Greece but my daughter now wants to come back here.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful home on the Neuse River. The house itself is stunning. It’s bright, spotless, and beautifully decorated with a warm, welcoming feel. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed (and more), making cooking a breeze.The outdoor space is what truly sets this property apart. The private sandy beach was perfect for lounging, playing, and soaking up the view. We loved using the kayaks and paddle boards, and spent hours fishing and crabbing right off the dock. The peaceful shaded porch quickly became our favorite hangout spot—ideal for morning coffee and evening drinks.The owners have truly thought of everything. From cozy blankets to board games and outdoor gear, every detail felt intentional and made our stay extra comfortable. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already dreaming of our next visit!

Paradise on the River

There are not enough superlatives to describe this one of a kind property. Incredibly peaceful,completely private and teeming with Nature..We thoroughly enjoyed the walk through the wetland marsh on our way to the beach or fishing off the dock. We had some rain,which gave us turtle sightings and frogs chirping wildly at night. It was awesome. We ate every meal on the back porch and loved that it was covered from any type of weather. The outside shower is not to be missed..It's just that special!The interior of this home is so tastefully decorated and appointed with top notch linens,beds and furnishings. The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked all meals with ease. Stacy left a lovely welcome basket of goodies, but I really appreciated the clear and detailed binder explaining everything about the house and area. Let me also state that this home and property was spotless! Finally, Stacy is one of the best hosts I have ever dealt with. Very avaliable, always accommodating and never without a cheerful answer to any inquiry. Do not hesitate to plan your holiday at Fisher Point. Its a sure winner and may be your favorite vacation home yet...

Lovely spot for family vacation

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Fisher Point Cottage. The accommodations and furnishings were very comfortable for our group of 9. We loved spending quiet mornings out on the private dock, using both the outdoor and indoor fireplaces, and taking advantage of the kayaks and fishing equipment. Home was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Host was easy to communicate with. I would recommend this home!

Amazing Place

This is an absolute gem of a place. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving here. The sunrise and sunsets were spectacular and listening to the waves along with the fire crackling in the evening was something special. The decor of the house was gorgeous and very cozy. Our family had a relaxing and joyful time.

Magical and relaxing stay

This property deserves all the 5 star reviews it gets. My children called it "magical." It's a quiet setting with a marsh (tree frogs on the windows at night were a treat) and a small beach perfect for building sandcastles. We appreciated the use of the 2 stand up paddleboards, crab pots, and steamer. Decorated to a high standard with quality linens. It was lovely to go out on the dock at night and see stars and to sit at the firepit. Great communication, easy check in and reasonable check out procedures.

A private peaceful retreat

The house was a perfect location for our family of six - grandparents, son, daughter in-law and two boys 10 and 12. Grandkids loved having cottage to themselves. House was large enough for us to spread out or lounge on large covered porch. We enjoyed our private beach to kayak, paddle board, swim or sit on the dock and birdwatch on the beautiful Neuse River. Our first visit to this part of NC but it won’t be our last. Great communication with owner. Would highly recommend when you’re ready to get away from it all!

Beautiful, Remote Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away at Fisher’s point. The cottage was beautifully decorated and surrounded by gorgeous landscapes. We loved how remote and private the property was, which allowed for a super relaxing vacation. The kids enjoyed all the wildlife that nature had to offer and fishing from the beach area. Family Stay

We were very pleased for the most part. The only “complaint” we had was that there was limited supplies. We ended up having to buy our own shampoo/dish rag (I like to wipe the counters down and didn’t want to use paper towel all the time) but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The house had all other amenities and very comfortable furnishings. Communication with owners was easy.

A Quiet Retreat

What a charming beach cottage! My three children actually disconnected from everything for a few days and got lost in UNO battles and good books. It was exactly what we needed. Absolute Perfection!

I can't say enough good things about this home, it is magnificent! The location, the house itself. Fully equipped with EVEYTHING! We had a horrible storm one of the days, and just stayed inside with 2 kids and it was so cosy and fun! Easy check-in. This was one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in and we've been at some beautiful places, already planning to return!!!
