Beautiful property. Utilizing the garage was a plus! The proximity to the beach was ideal. The only negative was the road noise from Hwy. 101 when the windows were open; however, that is an unavoidable tradeoff with being a half block from the shore.The Wednesday tsunami warning @ noon caught us off, as they did not announce it was a test until the very end of the alert, when the cows started mooing.We wished we had booked a longer stay:)

Arch Cape getaway

This was a great home full of amenities and a great layout. Plenty of space for all of us and a short walking distance to the beach. The nearby town of Cannon Beach had lots of shops and restaurants for us to explore.

We just finished our stay and we loved it. The home is gorgeous, beds are comfortable, very clean, and all the bells and whistles are there - everything imaginable for the kitchen, tons of games to play, extra towels, all so comfortable we want to rent again! The only downside is that the kitchen range is old and electric - we managed, but a gourmet chef might not be happy. Everything else outweighted the range though, so we still give 5 stars!

They made it right

The property was great for my extended family to enjoy however we had a few issues with things, such as a broken toilet, broken laundry door, finicky stove burner. Management was not very responsive but it didnt take away from the property and our visit. We had a wonderful stay and management made it right after we left.

Our Coastal adventure with Avantistay

The house was very suitable for our family of 9 people - 6 adults and 3 grandchildren, 4-11 yrs. Beds very comfortable, clothes storage good too.The two levels and bathrooms very adequate and useful. Kitchen well stocked and easy to use. TV technology totally difficult as we couldn't access the app, ever, but managed after a younger adult helped. Excellent access to the beach though disappointed couldn't see the beach from the house. Check-in/registration terrible - our Mac/Sierra server wouldn't recognize Avantistay program at all!

Beautiful home but beware

This was our second visit to this lovely home. It is clean, nice furnishings, housewares and all the comforts of home. We rented this time for 2 weeks. In 2020 our only complaint was the phone. Internet and TV service. Nothing has changed with them. For 2022, I inquired about the services in advance letting them know that I hoped the service had been approved. Getting no reply, I just hoped that there was an improvement....not so. If you plan to work from there, forget it. The service is spotty at best. Also, when checking in we were given an unsecured connection for the Internet, not ideal to work from. After calling 3 times and being told someone would get back to me about the TV service, I was contacted by a man from the local office who promised to get back to me....he never did. So I went 3 times to the office in Manzanita before finally reaching the manager. I explained the situation and she said that the directions were no longer correct and that she would drop new ones off the next day...she never came. In addition to the television service, I talked with her about the supplies provided. We never had a full house and by the end of the first week we were out of TP, paper towels and garbage bags. She said that for a two week stay, they just get you started! Next time, I guess I'll rent a place for 2 separate weeks so I can have new supplies and the place cleaned! What a disappointing answer. AvantStay will not be my choice to manage the next home we rent. The owners would be wise to look for another property management.

Great place 
 problematic rental company

We ended up having a great stay. The house is fantastic, we’ll stocked, very clean, functional and just fabulous. My only problems were with Avant Stay: they really require hoops to jump through up front (way more than typical Vrbo) and they were not communicative about what was required to checkin. The day before checkin, I initiated contact about why I hadn’t received checkin instructions and they informed me that I had one more hoop to jump through (one I wasn’t aware of, and had never been required from other Vrbo stays). They told me it was mentioned on the listing, but it wasn’t, nor was it mention in other emails from them or other communication (including the EXYREMELY long contract you have to sign). Once I completed this extra step (a little problematic), I was sent checkin instructions. After that, we had a couple small issues (wifi problem, no directions to the beach), and AnantStay was VERY responsive and helpful. Overall, extremely pleased with our stay. Note: this is a great place. You won’t be disappointed. (access to the beach is out the driveway, turn right, turn left, and at the “T” you will see a “path” on the left hand fork just to the right of a driveway, heading toward the sound of waves).

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time. Perfect location and everything you could want in a house. We had so much fun! Bedding was luxurious. Living rooms were spacious. Bathrooms clean and large. The only problem I can see is that beach access is limited by a rock path requiring lots of balance.

Amazing place!!!

This house has it all! First, let me say that I have stayed in a lot of rentals and this one by far is the most well appointed and well stocked house we’ve ever stayed in. The attention to detail that the owners have made is exceptional. The kitchen has an excellent assortment of cookware and everything you could possibly need to make a big meal for a family of 10. The layout of the house is great for a family to feel comfortable and have plenty of room. There’s a sound bar on the living room that was perfect for background music. Beds were super comfy, soft sheets and plenty of towels. Beach access is just a short walk down a picturesque pathway. We flew kites, played in the ocean and had s’mores. The owners have rain boots, ponchos and beach towels available - did I mention this house has everything you could possibly need??? The property manager is VERY responsive and super helpful. Will definitely book again!!

Absolutely Wonderful!

This property is not only beautifully appointed, it has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Super clean, comfy beds great furniture, fully stocked kitchen, gas grill, deck and beach chairs, plus toys for sand play. Truly, every amenity has been thought of and provided. We enjoyed the game selection, too. Highly recommend and will try to book again if we’re vacationing in Cannon Beach.

All inclusive rental one block from the beach

This property had so many nice touches...beach towels, sand toys, nice beach chairs, great kitchen supplies, games, "The Goonies" DVD, nice bedrooms, two living room spaces. We had a wonderful stay with great communication from the hosts. We would love to stay there again. A great rental for two families with kids.

Perfect Family Getaway

Quiet Perfection

We decided to celebrate the end of the school year by taking a short break. The house was wonderful, beautifully decorated and everything was provided. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach so it was very relaxing to just wander down there. We would be happy to return.
