Nice friendly old hotel

Nice old hotel. Friendly staff and willing to help in English. Rooms had a very low ceiling due to the age (300 years old) and had character. The bathroom was fine but could do with a bit of a refresh. The bar area was very cosy and welcoming. Located very centrally.

What a breakfast ( oh yes)

The hotel is a restaurant too and is a bar. The food is good and proof of that is the local use it too, very busy for a Sunday night. The rooms are a bit dated, but the are clean. If you like quiet towns this is one. Dead as a dodo at night. They do not provide breakfast, but you must take up the offer of having the breakfast in the bakers just down the road. Yes there is a surcharge, about £6gbp per person , it grrrrreat.

Vi havde et cykelstyrt kort før vi ankom til Arnsberg og vores ophold på hotel Ratskeller. Vi fik en super hjælp, de kørte os til hospitalet, personalet var meget opmærksom og behjælpelig

Hier komme ich immer wieder gerne unter. Ein freundliches Team, ein ruhiges Zimmer mit historischem Charme und bequemem Bett. Die Lage in der historischen Altstadt ist unschlagbar!

Schöne zentrale Lage, Zimmer aber in einem Fachwerkhaus mit niedriger Deckenhöhe. Achtung schon bei 1,80m Körpergröße. Ansonsten normal ausgestattet, Fahrrad-Garage mit Ebike-Lademöglichkeit, Preis ist angemessen. Da nur 5 Zimmer im Haus sind, wird kann das Frühstück im Nachbar-Hotel 100m entfernt gereicht: Das beste auf unserer Sauerland Tour! Personal und Freundlichkeit im Ratskeller veriieren: Die Dame am Abend war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Herr am nächsten Morgen konnte diesen Standard nicht halten. Trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert, besonders Abends vor dem Ratskeller zu sitzen und noch einen Absacker zu sich nehmen!

Trotz Ruhetag in der Gaststätte sehr freundlicher Empfang. Unsere Fahrräder wurden gut gesichert in der Garage untergebracht.
