I would not hesitate to rebook at the Hampton Inn and Suites Asheville Biltmore Area on Brevard Rd. The hotel has a nice gathering area with breakfast in the morning and a bar with beer taps and wine for evening socialization. Every area is clean and well maintained. And the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone who asks where to stay when visiting the NC Arboretum.

The table tops in the room had sticky cup rim marks on them and other food stock on them. Second night we were there, relaxing in the room, heavy cigarette smoke entered the room from around the headboards of the beds. I called the front desk and reported it. It did go away after a while. Sunday morning, when I went down for breakfast, there was absolutely no food in the containers nor even a piece of bread I thought maybe I could get some cereal but the milk containers are empty. This was around 9:00 AM. I reported it to the front desk, lady. She says we’re not out of food. There’s just not out there. as more people gathered in the kitchen area and saw there was no food. Someone came out of the kitchen and moved some of the empty containers. A while later another lady came, went into the kitchen and came back out and I said are you gonna have food for us and she said we’re heating it up now. I just left.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was exemplary. The main issue was lack of items during breakfast time. Primarily Sunday morning there were several empty spots. For example no orange juice, apple juice, bagels, muffins and fresh omelette. I was at breakfast around 9 so didn’t arrive late.
