    Apartment was gorgeous and so comfortable!!! It was also very private and quiet - with beautiful Mountain Views!! Owners were so welcoming and wonderful; and on our walks on the mountain road, we met some super friendly neighbors as well. Lots of things to see and do; or you can just relax at “home” — oh, and we enjoyed the Christmas Tree - made our stay extra special and cozy!!!

    Wonderful host! Host communicated with us and was more than willing to help with anything needed. She gave a lot of great recommendations and we even walked in to a nice welcome gift on the counter. The apartment was well stocked and clean. The location was amazing! If you’re looking for a great location to everything Asheville has to offer and enjoy looking at dear out the dining window while drinking your morning coffee I would highly recommend this place.     Wonderful Stay in Asheville!We had such a fantastic experience staying at this property! The apartment was spacious, peaceful and immaculately clean-exactly what we needed for a relaxing trip! It was conveniently located, making it easy to explore all that Asheville has to offer.The kitchen was beautifully designed and fully stocked which made meal prep and cooking a breeze. We had everything we needed and more. The hosts were helpful, responsive and always available to answer any questions we had. Check-in and check-out were seamless and stress free. We truly felt at home here and would absolutely stay again!Highly recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone visiting the area! And the bed was VERY comfortable and cozy!!!!

    This has to be the best short term rental property for a couple in the Asheville area. Spacious, beautiful, with every amenity. Comfortable bed. Even the towels are fluffy. Great location, easy to get anywhere in Asheville. Private and quiet location on the mountain. I can’t say enough about how great a rental this was. We spent a wonderful week there. Dog friendly too with a yard.

    The hosts achieved excellence. Communications were timely and helpful. The rental apartment was well furnished, and offered plenty of supplies and kitchen utensils.     Great location, close to downtown restaurants, spacious apartment (I could move in permanently, LOL). There were even several local beers to welcome us. Asheville is a great base for mountain biking in the area (Dupont state park, Bent Creek, Old Fort). Will stay there again.

    The most fabulous place to stay in Asheville

    Everything was wonderful. The hosts greeted us, made us feel at home, made themselves available to us, and were delightful people in general. The apartment was not only fabulous, it was immaculate. There was so much space, I could easily live there. The location was wonderful. We enjoyed all the beauty of staying in the mountains with only a short trip to town and all of the fun that entails.

    This was a roomy, quiet and peaceful place to stay, whether in Asheville for vacation or otherwise. The hosts are ever so helpful and the rooms and yard are wonderful for relaxation. The location is close to Grove Park Inn and convenient to all things Asheville.

    Ashville mountain retreat

    This one bedroom property was absolutely wonderful! Private entrance, fully appointed living area and kitchen. The owners were able to provide an extension cord so we could plug in our hybrid vehicle! Beautiful grounds and views - this was better than a 5 star hotel. Very convenient location to downtown Ashville as well as grocery stores.We are definitely going to be back!

    This lovely apartment is clean and comfortable. Everything you need is supplied- even a white noise machine is available. Dennis and Valerie are very kind, personable and helpful, but they also respect your privacy. Lovely views around the home.

    The Perfect Getaway

    This property is located on a beautiful winding country road in North Asheville. It is attractive, comfortable, and very private. Downtown Asheville is easy to get to and minutes away. And our on-site hosts could not be friendlier.

    I stayed at Elk Mountain Escape for a week of part-telework and part-vacation. The unit was perfect for both. Quiet with beautiful scenery. Downtown Asheville and Asheville attractions close by. Blue Ridge Parkway also close by. The hosts, Valerie and Dennis, go above and beyond for comfort and convenience. Kitchen cabinets and drawers are labeled with their contents. Robes and slippers are provided. The unit is spacious and very nicely appointed.

    We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful vacation rental, and it exceeded all of our expectations! The location is simply stunning, nestled in a serene environment with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It’s the perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty. The property itself is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Every room is tastefully furnished, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Our hosts were wonderful and attentive, providing us with great recommendations for local attractions and dining. They made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and were always just a call away. We can’t recommend this vacation rental enough and look forward to staying again in the near future.

    Exactly as advertised, clean, spacious, great location 15 min to downtown Asheville and easy access to the route to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hosts were superb. Will stay here again.

    Perfect Tranquility

    I absolutely loved my stay here. Valerie and Dennis were amazing host. The communicated and gave me recommendations for local restaurants, breweries and hikes. The place was immaculate and had everything I needed. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in on vacation. The view from the patio was breathtaking. The Blue Ridge Parkway was easily accessible from their home; a must see. I highly recommended this stay to anyone wanting a little tranquility and yet close to everything Asheville has to offer. I cannot wait to go back!
