Very comfortable and clean.
The bedroom closest to the street had some mild noise in AM due to a run, but I think our friends were fine with it.
Nice decor. Walkable to eateries and bars if you are interested. I bought a few things across the street at a mini mart. Off street parking, read reviewsâŠsome had concerns about size of vehicle, but we did not have any issues. There were a lot of instructions regarding clean up, but we dutifully did as requested. Bottom line, we had a comfortable stay and would recommend it!
Good location with easy access to everything. Walkable to many nearby spots. Well-cleaned and modern unit with all the essentials for my group of 4 adults and one kiddo. Entry and garage access on level 1. Living, dining, kitchen, half bath on level 2. King primary w/en suite bath, queen bedroom and full bath on level 3. Queen sleeping/living loft, half bath and roof deck on level 4. In-unit elevator access to all 4 levels was helpful for luggage. Other reviews have noted challenges with the HVAC. Our issue was that it was not operational at all upon our arrival and the management company did not disclose it until after I called. They did promptly deliver space heaters for the rooms which eventually heated up the spaces and provided a financial credit for the hassle. Space for 1 vehicle in the rear-entry garage (tricky entry for larger vehicles but we managed fine with our 3-row Jeep Grand Cherokee L). Second uncovered parking spot also behind unit. Water heater is tankless with extremely hot water but doesnât seem to be able to keep up with a shower that lasts more than a few minutes as the water turned cold quickly â not ideal for multiple showers. Overall fine, but weâll look for a different spot for our next visit.
This place was fantastic! Really good location, easy walking to downtown (we were only hampered by little kids and rain). Nice garage for parking and unloading. Clean, stylish and quiet place to decamp after a day of sightseeing. Would recommend to anyone.
The property was great except for the zoned HVAC system. The zones didnât operate independently as they were designed to do. If all the rooms didnât have the same temperature the system shut all zones down and we couldnât reset the system. It happened twice and the property manager had to come out both times to reset. It was very annoying. Left us without air conditioning for hours at a time.
Also the cable had no access to local news. It was only had streaming. You would think for almost $500 a night the owners would upgrade the viewing options.
Other than that we loved the home.
My husband and I stayed here with another couple. Walking distance to breweries and shops. Excellent modern furnishings, comfortable beds. Four stories with an elevator. Come in garage to ground floor, 1st floor has kitchen and living room, 2nd floor has master with ensuite bathroom and 2nd bedroom and a full bath, 3rd floor has half bath and bedroom loft with balcony. Would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to get to ourselves again soon! Very clean, quick responses to questions. Thank you!
This was a wonderful place to stay! Central, easy proximity to downtown, River Arts District and freeways. One tip- from description it was a bit hard for us to tell, but there are definitely 3 beds - 2 in 2 bedrooms with doors on 3rd floor and a 3rd on the 4th floor in an open/loft type of situation.
Spent two nights here for a weekend touring Asheville. Great location with just a short walk to downtown and minutes to some of the best breweries in South Slope. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if youâre looking for three separate sleeping areas.
Second time we stayed in this property. We enjoyed the stay but did not like having to take all the sheets/bedding off the bed. Also did not like the check out time of 10:00 am. Over-all great property and great location.
South Slope was perfect location for my wife and 4 kids. We were walking distance to several awesome restaurants and only an hour away from Chimney Rock and Sliding Rock. We stayed 7 days and really enjoyed the place and Asheville. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Donât bring an SUV if you expect to fit in the garage. But there is another parking space. Beware the bears in the woods behind the lot! Other than the bears, there are no lovely views but the house is nicely appointed, very clean and very quiet.. The towels are a bit thin, and communication with the properly manager via VRBO about an early check-in felt unneccessarily cumbersome, but all in all it was a perfect and very easy stay. I would return.
Spent a couple nights in Asheville for anniversary . The property was amazing! Very convenient to downtown. Cleanliness was superb. The balcony views were top notch. Very quiet complex. Check In and Out was easy. Property management was excellent in communication. Car was secured in garage and never left once parked due to proximity of everything. Will definitely stay again.
The townhome was located in the perfect spot for our short trip into town. Easy access to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway and then come back and walk downtown to all the breweries and places to eat.
Rented this unit for 4 nights for Family of 4 (17 & 20 year old). Location & having 3 bedrooms (and a reasonable rate) made this the logical choice. (FYI - there are also 2 couches/ futons in the Front living room that easily could be used to sleep two more if needed) This was my First time VRBO experience. Lots of Proâs Owner communicated well via email in advance. Also provided links for discounted tickets to Biltmore. Unit was VERY clean. Beds were top notch. Kitchen and large dining table were definitely appreciated. Bathrooms/ showers were quite nice. My teens also appreciated having Roku TV in the bedrooms to escape parents. We never used the elevator - but Iâm sure it would be fantastic if you had those that couldnât manage the stairs. Location is just south of downtown. You can tell the Neighborhood is flipping over. Hodge-podge of residential along with industrial and retail. My family safe the whole time We made the .6 mile walk to heart of downtown Asheville action numerous times (city of Asheville was packed during our stay and parking downtown was somewhat painful. FYI - Biltmore was 3.5 miles south of the unit. Way closer than I realized.
Two small cons
- front bedroom gets some street noise from road & convenience store across the street.
- the unit has a 1 car garage and a 2nd car parking space. The garage /driveway/parking spaces in the rear is VERY tight and weâll used. I have a Toyota Highlander and pretty decent parking skills - so we made it work. If you have a big truck or Tahoe sized vehicle - good luck.
Overall - this is a really nice place. Great for family or 2/3 couples. Thought it was a great value , especially during the busy holiday time we stayed there. Would stay again.
Property was new and nice. 3 beds (no futons or foldouts) very comfortable for 3 couples.
Walk to downtown very easy, although hilly. Numerous brewery and food options. Loved them all. We questioned area safety before our trip, but it was a non issue.
