Very good location just ouside of the national park.
Room was ok.
Just the beds : very noisy.
The price of the food is proportioanal to the altitude :) but was good ;).
This was our first time staying in this nice motel. It is conveniently located near the Mount Rainier National Park trails, and the motel is well-maintained for family stays.
Stayed here for the first time last year and booked it again for our recent trip. The location is great, it's rustic, but in a charming way. Love the little cafe/ice cream shop that has great morning pastries, but get there early...so you can get into the park early and avoid the lines!
My son and I stayed here for one night. Overall it was good. My only wishes were more food options (son has celiac disease, I recognize that's not a common ask) and a way to keep the room a little cooler at night (had one small desk fan, no A/C). Location was great (6 miles from park entrance) and price was very reasonable compared to many of the other options near Nisqually entrance.
The room was great. The water pressure and nice towels after a long day of hiking was way nicer than I had expected. The room was super clean and the property was very cute. Walkable to the restaurant next door as well as a equipment rental facility
We had a great stay at the hotel the room was nice and clean the bathroom was a bit smaller with only one small sink we git two rooms which was attached with one bathroom the room didnât had any ac or any fans but the night was ok enough was to sleep in summer there was no staff after 8 so even if we wanted we couldnât get anyone. When we arrive we were not told that the bbq dining area will be close at 8 so be wary about that it was hard for us to find dinner afterwards because everything close at 8 the surrounding was beautiful we started there cause we went to National park first thing in the morning and that workes out great for us.
The room that sleeps 5 people (room 21) is upstairs and there are no ramps/elevators to get to the second floor-difficult for guests who canât climb up comfortably. Cafe food options are a bit expensive ($8 for a breakfast sandwich that isnât even made in-house). Otherwise a nice lodge in a beautiful area.
