My go to place lived up to its standards this week , the room was really clean and nothing wrong and I was able to get maid service this time .

Quiet comfortable room with good location and proximity to places. TV was hard to work and would turn itself off. There was also no soap and shampoo in the shower. Not horrible not great.

I did not talk with the staff for more than a couple minute but they seem nice. Standard motel, but I did notice a few cobwebs in the room with the drapes appearing ready to fall off the wall. Pros are the fact that I was surprised with the size of the room was good with two queens in different rooms for some privacy. The location was good which had easy places to walk for a drink or a bite and if you wanted to venture off farther downtown the walk was only 20 minutes.

The room was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. The vanity was nice and big. The HVAC unit was very quiet, which was lovely. Shower was great, good and hot, with nice waterflow. My only suggestion for improvement was that there were no towel bars or hooks to hang anything in either the shower room or the bathroom vanity, except for the towel bar over the toilet and the shower rod. There was nothing by the sink, which meant the towels had to rest on the vanity, but it's a minor issue. The fan and the shower area was very loud. But again, a minor issue. Parking was easy. Location was great, right across from the riverwalk.

Rivershore is my go to place when I stay in Astoria , but this time I was not happy . My first room had water in front of the fridge and it wasnt working , so I was moved into the corner room , there were issues with that room where I called the next day to get it properly cleaned and the other issues fixed , it arrived after work to find nothing had been done to fix any of the issues so I was transfered back to my orginal room after the fridge issue was corrected . That room was up to the usual high standard I have come to expect . I put the maid sign out when I left for work and came back to the room after work and nothing had been done . This is the second week in a row I couldn't get maid service. Hopefully my stay next week will be without issues. I still recommend this motel .

Plumbing was not working very well. Had to hold toilet handle up for a few minutes or it would run forever. It was some sort of a bucket that filled with water in the tank and it leaked. Time for a new toilet!! Lighting was not much better than a cave with a few candlesticks. One TV looked to be needing repair and never worked. Room had musty smell like wet dog.. Bed was like a hammock. Way too soft! Friendly manager but not worth the stay.

2 Bedroom Suite Didnt Have 1 Bedroom Door

This hotel does not properly advertise rooms. I payed for a 2 bedroom suite, i was bringing my teenagers and baby and all of us being in one room was uncomfortable. I dont know if they just dont have multiroom suites or if they scammed us and gave us a lesser room. But my suite did not have 2 bedrooms or a common area. It was just an elongated double queen room. There was a short hallway between both of the beds and the bathroom was in the middle. There was no door to separate, it was one room. The fridge and microwave were right next to one of the beds and the "seating area" was in the same place. It was uncomfortable and not what i paid for. The doorframes had streaky thin paint like they were unfinished. The tub was nasty, hair and dirt and a used bar of soap. Nobody got to shower, nobody got a bedroom door. It was unpleasant and unprofessional.
