The hotel was so clean! We were a bit hesitant about sharing a bathroom and shower, but it was so pristinely clean, our hesitations were immediately gone. Loved the experience!
It was great, the first night we were kept up and we thought it was our neighbors. On night two we discovered it was the window shade hitting the window over and over. You get a mini fan in the room so you want the windows open to cool off. Window around the lobby and front door stayed open for the same reasons. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
Great place: neat clean and friendly. Shared bathroom and shower rooms in the âcabinâ rooms (the cheaper ones). But super clean plus tons of historical character in the 1924 building. Shared kitchen with full stove and shared refrigerator.
Amazingly thoughtful logistics design for ease and hygiene.
Most guests (like me) we of an age that we had experience in shared housing from our youth so this was very comfortable. A really positive experience and good nights sleeps!
The room was very nice with lots of room. The bathroom was large clean. Liked very much. Disappointing they didn't have coffee in the morning as we were told when we checked in. The person said they ran out the day before.
I had a great stay at this super cool spot during a short trip to Astoria. The vibe of the place was relaxed and hip, with a creative charm that really made it stand out. The shared facilities, especially the kitchen, had this nostalgic school-like feel that made meeting other travelers fun and easyâlike being back in a friendly dorm, but way cooler. Wish I could have stayed a few more nights to fully soak in the nature, the townâs quirky charm, and the amazing people. Definitely coming back!
Itâs a fun, kinda funky place to stay. Itâs old. Creaky floors and some wear on the fixtures. No tv in the room. Lots of amenities if youâre looking to stay cheaply or be close to downtown Astoria.
The hotel is like a hostel. Very clean and friendly staff. Building is old so you can hear others in the next room. There are restaurants close by within walking distance. Restrooms, showers, and kitchen are public use.
