The room stank of cigarette smoke and was completely unusable. Staff were rude and unhelpful (also tried to tell me it didn’t smell, despite 2 other guests also verifying this!), and I was left stranded late at night. The staff lied and said no hotels were available so they couldn’t find me a alternative The front desk is often unattended despite claiming to be 24/7, and the rooftop bar is very busy which means you have to wait ages for a lift. Also anyone going to the bar can just can access guest floors without a key card. Avoid this hotel, especially if you’re travelling alone.

This was my second time staying there i.e. 10/2022 and 10/2025. It is a very lovely hotel. Very clean. Friendly front desk, cleaners and even at the Breakfast buffet in the morning. This hotel.has got everything right. Visually appealing rooms, excellent cleanliness, touches of consideration everywhere(bottle of water replenished daily). Amazing room.. Fabulous location right across Monastiraki station and square. Good hearty breakfast with a great view of the Acropolis & a famous roof top bar for drinks/food as well. I highly recommend it!

The hotel is brilliant in nearly all respects; staff are really helpful, rooms are nice and the view excellent. The reason for the 3-stars is due to the noise. On floor 5 you are just below the restaurant / bar which is extremely noisy and we struggled to sleep Friday and Saturday night. I feel a quick fix would be carpets in the bar area so that it would reduce the noise of people walking and moving chairs?

The room was really spacious and clean. The hotel staff were helpful and welcoming. The location was perfect, very close to the Acropolis and lots of good food to eat near by. This wasn't an issue for us but if you do struggle with noise when sleeping, we would warn that the road is quite busy and you can hear a lot from the room. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend.
