The staff are always amazing. The bar wasn't open. The hot water didn't work in the shower.The rooms are well lit on the side where the sink and shower are but it is dark where the bed and chair is.

Was an ok place for a couple days for what we needed. A little disappointed and felt like we got punked on the “continental” breakfast and you could tell the disappointment on the other guests face as well. It was quiet and comfortable and warm and that’s what we needed.

Great for the money, location is awesome for exploring Hocking State Park. the hotel itself is very neat but a bit dated. the mattress is too soft and your body sinks in. The daily cleaning is done very well, but air vents are duty and the molding peels back from the wall n some spot, which collects dust and debris. The bathroom lacks space to put anything down, such as clothing for after shower. the one hook is loose and anything hung will fall off. the toilet design has no lid so can't put anything atop the seat. The rooms have good space. The towels, sheets and floors are clean. overall for the price compared the area, it's a great deal. would stay again if I travel through the area for the price.

The first room given to us had makeup stains on the pillow case and several black hairs between the sheets. We got a new room. New room had a blanket shoved up in the closet, hair in the shower and the mattress was so broken down it sunk in the middle. I was rolling into the middle all night. Before we left for the day, we put the clean room sign on our door. We got back at 7pm and the room was not cleaned. It said this hotel is supposed to help the college students learn hospitality. Their instructor should be fired. This place has so much potential. I emailed to tell them my situation and never heard back. The front desk ladies just work the front desk and have no authority or means to rectify room issues. We bought sheets to put on the bed because I don’t trust they are cleaning the bedding. Will never come back.

Room was clean but there were visible scuffs on the wall and the towel rack was loose. Shower curtain was just slightly too short so water would get out on the bathroom floor when I showered. I stayed 3 nights and the trash was never collected from my room. I put it out in the hallway and it stayed there for two days until I checked out and I have no idea if they got it. I noticed a broken glass in the stairwell and the trash can outside the far entrance was overflowing. I would Not stay here again!
