India checked on us during our stay. The house is located close to downtown without the congestion of downtown. It was also a quick drive to the MARTA station. The house is so cozy and the neighborhood was fairly quiet. Every once in a while you hear the train but it wasn't disruptive. You just hear it in the nackground when sitting on the porch.
My overall impression of the property was sad. I reminded me of when i was small and we would go to my grandmothers house and you had to turn the water on a special way to get hot water. The water in the hallbathroom was scourcing hot. Shower curtain was nasty. Just needed to be washed. The bathroom is to small for adult use. 3x6. The host claimed there was toilet paper and paper towels , all we saw in all the closets were junk that was thrown in there. Unable to adjust the temperature so at nightit was hot. The whole frig froze everything. They have to have a leak from the frig cause every morning we got up there was water on the floor in front of the frig. The flooring edges were buckled, evidence there is water under it. Back porch full of dead bugs and spider webs. Ceiling look they were going to fall. The clutter in the laundry room had paint fumes and my husband has Bronchitis
Our stay at this property was overall enjoyable. The home is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and was conveniently close to many of the attractions and activities we had planned. The house itself was mostly clean upon arrival. The sheets and bedding were fresh and tidy, and the hallway bathroom was well-maintained. However, there were some cobwebs and spider webs throughout parts of the property, and the bedroom shower needed to be cleaned before use. The kitchen was clean and had most of the essentials needed for our stay, although it was not fully stocked. One minor issue we encountered was that the TV remote required new batteries, but we replaced them ourselves without much trouble. The main concern during our visit was at check-in. The wrong code was initially provided, which left us waiting outside the property for about 30 minutes. While this was frustrating, I appreciated that the owner took full responsibility for the mistake, communicated with us promptly, and refunded half a nightâs stay as a gesture of goodwill.Despite a few hiccups, the home was comfortable, and the owner was responsive and accommodating. I would consider staying here again and recommend it to others looking for a centrally located and quiet getaway.
Perfect home for a group of 7. Plenty of room, and there is even an extra room/office area if needed. Listing is accurate, home was clean, beds comfortable and the host was very nice and the communication was fast. Host was also upfront with minor cosmetic issues, but they absolutely did not take away from our stay. Other reviews mention the location not being the best, however we did not see an issue with it. The neighborhood was cute, and VERY quiet. Another review mentioned the train, which was close, but it did not bother us, I honestly didn't even recall hearing it ever when inside the house. While the location is not far from Mercedes-Benz stadium, if you are going to attend a large event, be mindful of the TRAFFIC surrounding it - you will be stuck in it.
Spacious rooms and large yard space!!!!The ceiling in the kitchen was cracked. The tub in the master bedroom was cracked.Every closet had random items thrown in.Found a few dead roaches. The patio could use plenty of cleaning. The drive way is so steep, good luck getting a car up it. The yard needs some maintenance.Nicest thing at the property was the washer machine...that we didnt use.
Good: Home owner was always fast in responding to messages. House was cute and had a good floorplan. Large bedrooms. Neighbors were quiet during our stay. Floors, bathrooms, bedrooms, livingroom, and kitchen were clean. One of the queen sized beds was very comfortable.
Bad: Very close to railway tracks (noisy). Neighborhood is rough with lots of boarded up houses and such. Master bedroom bed was horribly uncomfortable, so I slept with our daughter on the other queen bed. Hardly any kitchen counterspace which made food prep difficult. Walls, baseboards, and doors were very dirty with lots of dings. Tub in ensuite had a hole in it, so we couldn't use it as a tub (it is the only tub in the house). The ensuite door wouldn't close properly due to water damage on the door frame. Not enough bath towels, so I was glad we brought our own. We saw a cockroach crawling on a wall in a bedroom as we were packing up to leave. We took a 20 minute video of all the issues we saw when we first arrived so we couldn't be blamed for any of it. I suggest you do the same.
Overall, for the price, the house served its purpose. Thankfully we didn't have any big problems while we were there., but I wouldn't recommend it unless it was all you could afford.
This home was very cozy with cute homey decor! The beds were comfortable and so was the couch! Toy room was spacious and plenty of room for our boys! House was easy to find. We couldnât figure out how to work the stove but managed to reheat some leftovers VIA microwave. The clean towels were in the dryer (we werenât aware at the time) so went out to purchase some at a near by target which was no biggie. Overall it was perfect for our small family and very reasonably priced. It was 10 minutes away from all our attractions purchased through City Pass and owner was very accommodating and quick to respond through our entire trip!
Our stay would have been perfect except for the fact that the plumbing in the master bathroom was horrible. You can not put toilet paper or try to poop. I got sick and vomited in that bathroom to avoid doing it on the carpet and it wouldnât flush even that. and the smell would not go away. other than that the place was clean. and host was great.
