My sister and I both traveled in from two different states to meet up with our kids for a long weekend. We didnât know much about where to stay in Atlanta. This was a great spot because it was very close to a lot of things. We were able to walk to some things and other things we drove just because of the heat.
The sleeping situation was very comfortable, clean and accommodating. Kitchen was clean and it was nice having the bar area to sit at and eat as a family. Building itself was quiet.
Temperature is controlled by the building so if you tend to run a little warm, I would suggest to bring a fan. Host were fantastic to work with. Always very quick to respond and try to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The stay was decent. However, There were a few issues. The living room window was slightly open and I wasnât able to close it. I could hear all of the traffic outside and felt the cold draft. The bathroom wasnât clean. The bathroom drawers had hair weave, loose hairs and a toothbrush in it. Iâm assuming it was left from a previous guest. There were roaches in the bathroom as well as the main area. I think a thorough cleaning of the unit is needed.
The process through VRBO was difficult due to not receiving any check in information until I had to call the host, then text the host while we waited outside. A man in the hallway encouraged us to âclose the blinds and turn the fans onâ. The apartment was cute but there was minimum air conditioning and it was very hot the whole time. The AC units barely functioned and there was no fan in the living room. The location is great and Uber was easily accessible. Communication could be much better as there were no check out instructions sent to me and no check in instructions were received until after 5:00 PM
