Family Vacation

I traveled with my 3 daughters, and my parents to see my son and his family. My son is stationed in Havelock with the Marines. Our stay was perfect. Quiet area, short walk to the beach. Easy for shopping and plenty of restaurants to enjoy! Highly recommend!

Love it, our 3rd stay

The location is great, it's a short walk to the beach and the pier. The kitchen is well stocked and is well laid out if you like to cook. Our only complaint, the TV area could use a bit more comfortable seating for 6 adults.

There needs to be TV's in each bedroom, not just the living room and the random office. If a family was to stay there, the living room set up does not accommodate for it. The couch only fits 2 people and there is only one other chair. The light switches are very confusing and backwards, the door lock has issues to where we were locked out multiple times. There is not enough space for parking with a large vehicle or if you need room for more than one vehicle. The house overall is beautiful but there are a few things that I believe should be changed.

Cozy, current, welcoming cottage

This interior of this cottage’s beachy fresh first impression with a huge covered porch didn’t disappoint. Wide open first floor was a great gathering space! All was well appointed with new fixtures and inviting finishes In a perfectly relaxed ocean-side style. Charming decor in spacious renovated rooms drew us in to enjoy the total vacay experience. From the deck’s rocking chairs and pub stools, to the butcher block island in modern-cottage kitchen, to the clean quartz bathrooms, fluffy beds, comfy seating and unexpected mini-family rooms adjacent to the upstairs BRs
not a comfort-detail was missed. Thoughtful amenities were provided for a truly turn-key experience. (No I am not related to the owner,lol). Although it rained 3 days of our trip, we enjoyed the nearby beach, pier walk, great dining 
and the truly inviting beach house. Not right on the beach but just behind gorgeous row of homes, and adjacent to empty lot & small manufactured homes on 3 sides, it is a cute, clean, current , cozy cottage. Definitely would go back (ps my wife wrote this, but I like it too).

Home away from Home

The house was amazing - great location, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beach was a short walk away. We ate in mostly and the kitchen had everything needed. Very centrally located - we took a ferry out of Harker's Island and also Morehead City and also played mini golf and watched the sunset in Emerald Isle. Was our first time to Atlantic Beach and really enjoyed it - very family friendly. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great house.. Great location!

Very nice house. Great layout. Great location! Only thing keeping me giving it a 5 star rating.. The downstairs AC did not work and when I reported it the rental company they said the house had a warranty and it would not be fixed while I was there. :( They (Spectrum) did offer to bring a window unit in if needed. Other than that.. Great place.

Amazon location!

We loved this cute house! The proximity to the beach was amazing. The house has a great use of space and some extra spaces we weren’t expecting. The only negative was that it was clearly dusty under any piece of furniture as if cleaners did not bother to sweep under benches or side tables and the gas grill worked fine but also had a lot of old residue in the bottom which made flare ups. The quiet location, proximity to beach and comfortable house would bring us back again for sure!

Great beach house

The house was extremely well provisioned and appointed; it had everything we could ask for. The location is great, a very short walk to the beach and a few blocks from some great restaurants. We would certainly rent it again on a return trip to the area.

Excellent family getaway

The property was even better than we anticipated. There was plenty of room for our family of five, and the location was great...close to the beach and in a quiet area. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to spend time in Atlantic Beach.

Nice house tucked into a family neighborhood

The house was well equipped and comfortable, very clean and laid out well. We particularly appreciated the location. Just across the bridge and within walking distance to bars and restaurants, but on a very family oriented block that was quiet and easy going.

Place and location were amazing!!!!

Great location with a wonderful layout inside. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Amenities inside the house were modern and easy to use. Extremely clean upon arrival. Having a gas grill was definitely a plus!
