The fact of been charged a $100 deposit on arriving which should've been stated in the booking...if i had known this beforehand I'd probably would've booked as there were cheaper and closer alternatives but other than that the stay was nice and comfortable.

Stayed at the Grand Chancellor Auckland and honestly, the rooms were great, the location was spot on, but let’s be real—the true five-star experience was the bar staff. I don’t know what kind of magic training they’ve had, but I’m convinced they could mix a cocktail blindfolded while simultaneously solving world peace.

The USB ports wouldn’t charge my iPhone or my iwatch. Someone came to take a look and then never came back. Food quality at the restaurant is amazing and the staff are all wonderful
