Nice room, friendly cat.

We arrived much later than planned (5 hour flight delay heading to Auckland). Our room was large and would have been perfect to un-wind in. Alas, as we arrived close to midnight it was too late for that. Check in was fast. The room was large and modern. The shuttle service to the Jet Park was OK, the bus back to the airport very smooth. We briefly met Jetson the hotel cat when we arrived.....

Service was great from the Reception to the F&B team. Stayed for a couple of nights and got an upgrade room on the 2nd night. The rooms will need more attention to detail when getting cleaned, it was dust on the furniture; just keep the basic cleaning standards for a hotel room.

This is 3rd time in a row coming back to this hotel. It is best value for money and has a nice vibe. Room was very quiet. I also like the easy car parking and no charge for this while you are staying at hotel

Thumbs Up for Convenience and Service

Thumbs up for the excellent Shuttle service, made transitioning to and from airport seamless. Not having to worry about early morning check outs eased our outward journey.Quick check-in. A good balance of facilities for overnight stays close to airport before travelling further afield. Very friendly staff in bar and dining areas, reception and on shuttles. Enjoyed our evening meal with a good selection to choose from. Thank you for a stress free stay.

One thing needs changing

Always enjoy our stay here. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and great shuttle service. This time we encountered a problem. Saturday night and we weren't able to order off the dinner menu at the restaurant as they had a buffet on. This is new apparently, For Thursday through to Sundays. We were told we could order room service if we didn't want the buffet. That wasn't really an option as we did not have a table and chairs in our room to sit at and we definitely do not want to eat sitting on our bed. We had to speak to several staff members before they agreed we could order off the room service menu but have it delivered to the restaurant. This was just ridiculous. For an airport hotel trying to determine your menu based on weekends or weekdays just doesn't make sense. We had been travelling due over a month. I didn't even know what day it was ! We weren't the only ones who didn't want the buffet.

I liked the proximity to the airport and the spaciousness of the room. I did not like the carpet tiles and the fabricated materials used to decorate the room with. It feels very industrial and rather basic, like a cheap office
