The location was excellent and the hotel is obviously new. There were some noise issues as we could hear containers being lifted off trucks next door. The extractor fan in the bathroom was also extremely noisey and we woken early as the person above us was getting ready to leave at 5.30am :-(

I checked in at 1:30am ( confirmed by phone) and was checking out at 10am — barely an 8-hour stay — yet the receptionist made the experience stressful. Instead of a simple “Good evening, welcome, your room has been ready since 2pm,” I was immediately asked for ID in a rude and unwelcoming way. The whole interaction felt more like being interrogated than checked in. I also had to wait for a key that should’ve been ready instantly. Overall, very poor customer service.

I hate giving them three stars because there is nothing they can fix. The check-in process was honestly the easiest and quickest I have ever done. Every single staff was lovely and helpful and could not have been better. The evening meal was simply delicious. My room was perfectly clean and I was so grateful for the water bottles. But I would not stay here again because of the location. The shipping company next door had trucks coming and going and I got a total of about 4 hours of sleep. I’m not a super light sleeper and it still constantly woke me up. I would suggest ear plugs. That might help. I didn’t have any.

The room was affordable, with all amenities, the staff are courteous and responsive, the one drawback being both the butter chicken and beef lasagne were a wee bit sweet, other than that....good as!

Check in was a breeze. Every staff member we spoke with were super friendly and helpful. The property is very clean. Our king room suited us perfectly for our last night in Auckland before flying out. They provided more hot breakfast options than many other hotels I’ve stayed at. Definitely recommend!
