Perfect End to Summer

We spent a few days here on a last minute trip to soak up the last bits of summer with our boys, and it couldn’t have been a better spot. The duplex was clean, cozy, and stocked up with everything we needed. Being just a short walk to Barton Springs Pool was such a win - we were able to enjoy the water without the hassle of driving or parking. The family lives upstairs, but it still felt private and comfortable. By the end of our trip, our boys were already asking when we would come back
 overall a great stay that made our quick getaway feel special.

We absolutely LOVED staying here! Brandon and Kara were beyond amazing hosts! They are quick to respond, so accommodating, and made us feel at home.The location is absolutely perfect! Fantastic stay - great house - amazing location!

If you want to take in a little Austin culture and you’d like to stay in a spacious, well appointed vrbo - consider this sweet place directly across the street from the Barton Springs pool Zilker Park. Brandon and Kara made sure we were comfortable and felt welcome in their place. Offering their baby supplies (high chair, pack and play) made things all the easier for us three adults and my two month old granddaughter! We even had a minor brief power outage that we discovered later in the evening one night - Brandon was there to fix the problem in minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Not a place you would want to rent

Nice place but the owners live above and they have young kids.. Their kids woke up early at 6-6:30 everyday and ran above all the room and drop balls and toys which made it very difficult for morning sleepers. If I was renting my basement I would make sure my kids would not be running during those days and keep them grounded at least that early of morning.

Great place!
 Especially if you are an outdoorsy type!! Located directly across from Zilker Park, which offers a pool, hiking/ biking trails, canoeing, and entertaining ‘people watching’.Close to many restaurants & downtown governmental buildings.

Great location and spacious living quarters. Kitchen was well stocked and check in was a breeze. Take note of the description - the driveway was very steep and there were little feet running around upstairs, nothing that would deter us from staying again but just something to note if you’re booking!

Great Location, nice property. Did not like the policy of requiring that I pay for damage insurance or a $3k deposit. On top of the known %30-40 of fees and taxes you’re going to incur on these rental property sites, I did not appreciate being cornered into that additional expense. Coffee machine had not been cleaned to the point of being very moldy. Not a big deal but definitely clean that thoroughly. The property above theirs rental was quite noisy as well.

NICE HOME AND GREAT LOCATION

Visiting Austin to see our son at UT. Home was really nice for the three of us and to get him out of his near campus apartment for a weekend. Home was VERY well appointed with everything you need to dine in if you wish to cook or close to great restaurants if that is your jam. My son appreciated record player in the living room which he'd NEVER personally seen before, and I told him how great vinyl sounds with the old school pops and cracks as we got pretty deep into a Boston album provided by the hosts. If you like to walk, this home is DIRECTLY across the street from Barton Springs pool and the network fo trails that snake along the shores of Barton Creek and the Colorado River through Austin, Just be mindful the driveway is steep and I recommend backing in to make it easier when you depart. Hosts were great and made the stay VERY easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this location. I plan to stay again in the future if available.

Spacious and clean

This property is wonderful. It’s located across the street from Zilker Park. We just walked over and enjoyed the park. The unit itself is new. Spacious. Clean. And comfortable. If you’re sensitive to noise, there is some noise during the day from upstairs. But totally quiet from 8 pm to 7 am. We enjoy our stay very much.

Beautiful!

Great location in Austin and close to many of the great attractions in & around Austin. The home is well laid out and very comfortable. The hosts were responsive and friendly. You can hear the pitter patter of little feet upstairs in the main home but it was minimal and not disturbing to us. Highly recommend a stay here.
