We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holy Duck! Jacob, our host, was very communicative and always easy to get a hold of. The back yard space was wonderful for hanging out and playing games, and the inside was comfortable with plenty of room for our group of 6. I also love that everything we could ever ask for was provided, including shower items, plenty of towels, cooking gear and spices. Highly recommend!

The kitchen has most cooking utensils, but it's nonstick pans. Oddly enough I found a cast iron skillet! Which was a welcome surprise. Communication was, at the time reliably quick with the property manager, although there were not fixes to the issues we faced. There is a minefield of dog poop in the backyard, around the corner of the house, so don't let kids run around unsupervised.There are bugs, in and out of doors. The bath and shower were not very clean upon arrival, hairs and soap residue, and I had to clean it myself. The pool had bits of bugs in it, we netted as much as we could. The pool never got heated beyond 85 even after we paid the fee to heat it to 95. The bedsheets are polyester and hot.

This was a beautiful home in crazy Austin TXWe had everything we needed at the property. Kitchen was spacious and inviting for a family gathering. The pool and backyard put it over the top for us. Also so grateful they are pet friendly. Our pups loved their vacation too. Lucas and his team were top notch with check in and notifications. Highly recommend a stay at Holy Duck!!

Peaceful Stay

We stayed for a week at Holy Duck, and it's just exactly as the pictures depict. It's an older house in an older neighborhood in South Austin. The house may show it's age in places, but it has a nice interior and a spacious kitchen. The backyard is absolutely perfect for relaxing and entertaining; we were in the pool just about every day! It's a nice, quiet area and close to a lot of good restaurants. Check-in and communication were excellent. It was a wonderful stay!

Ducking Awesome in Austin

Lucas's property in Austin is exactly what our family was looking for! The home is exactly as advertised. It was clean, well furnished (no cheap IKEA stuff), and had tons for us to do with the family in the pool, back yard, and living room. We had a couple of things come up during the trip and Lucas and his team responded almost instantly. The location is less than a mile from the popular South Congress area and had quick access to multiple highways.

Relaxing stay with nice outdoor space

I recently stayed at this house for a girl's weekend. It had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the nice outdoor space - especially the pool. It was a short drive/uber to anywhere we wanted to go (10 mins), and we found the location convenient for our needs. The host was very responsive to our questions, which we really appreciated. I would recommend!

Fantastic!

This house was amazing! We had three adults and two teens. The backyard and pool area were perfect. The house was spotless. The house was in a neighborhood with a lot of houses close, but once inside and in the fenced-in backyard you’d never know. It was super convenient to get to restaurants and shopping. The host was very responsive and helpful. I hope to stay here again in the future! Highest recommendation!!

Ideal Bachelorette

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette and couldn’t have been happier with this house! It was even better than listed online. Incredibly clean, comfortable beds, great appliances and the house and yard were just as well decorated and fun as they looked in the listing! The house was also stocked with everything we needed - cleaning supplies, irons/steamers, towels for the pools, etc. to make things really easy and comfortable. Lucas was also incredibly communicative and made sure we felt comfortable with every step of the booking and check in process. We couldn’t recommend this booking more!!

Perfect Stay

This is such a terrific property - from the street, very unassuming; however, the backyard is loaded with fun. My grandchildren ran, "played" bocci ball and jenga. The host was very communicative and responsive. I had requested the heat on the pool be up to 90 degrees, and it was on both days. Will stay here again.

Great spot for a quick Austin getaway

Fantastic South Austin location! Quiet and safe, minutes to South Congress and all downtown hot spots. Clean, cozy, charming home. My 65 year old mother was ready to just stay forever! Pool was so relaxing after walking the city all day. Would return!

We did a quick staycation for the pool and enjoyed our time. They listing says to say quiet after 10pm (no music, loud talking), but around 8pm they told us to not be outside at all. Just a heads up, you're in a neighborhood with close neighbors

Fantastic modern home, clean and well appointed, in a great Austin location! Owner has thought of everything and more you could need for a fun time at the house! Great A/C, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and sweet Texas decor. My granddaughters especially loved the colored lights in the pool at night! Make a reservation, you won't be sorry!

Great House

This is a nice oasis in what can be the craziness of a growing Austin area. As experienced VRBO(Homeaway) people we can tell you this host was one of the most accommodating and responsive we have ever had. The house was immaculate and has everything that you want in a VRBO. There is some travel involved if you are going into the city or anywhere north, but it is wasn't that bad and it is well worth it for what you get in this house.

Perfect break place

The place was perfect for us. The ambiance was relaxing yet fun. Loads of things for the kids to do and the pool was the perfect temperature. Decor: time and thought was put into the fixtures and decoration and supplies. It has everything needed. Beds were comfy and clean. Loads of towels and it was all very well taken care of. We will be coming back for sure!

Great Pocket Neighborhood

This property was excellent. Super clean, very quiet, great area close to restaurants and coffee shops. Beds were amazing; like sleeping on a cloud. A/C nice and cold. Didn't use the pool but a family would have loved the privacy of the back yard. Would definitely stay again. Host was super efficient and quick to respond. Great stay!
