The house is close to just about anything you need from stores and restaurants to freeway access. And of course close to morning coffee spots. Much needed. Both rooms are good size. And having 2 bathrooms is super helpful. Only downside was no patio furniture for the backyard. It was nice weather but there was no place to sit outside and enjoy it.
We booked this home for several weeks while I needed to be in Texas for work. After being there for 10 days with no issues, we discovered someone had planted a surveillance device in the home. Someone started speaking with my husband through the A/V system and it was clear they could see exactly where he was and what he was doing. It was terrifying for us both. Truly traumatic. We fled at nearly 11:00 p.m. and checked into a hotel. You would think that was the worst of it, but neither Vacasa (the management company) nor VRBO (who we booked through) provided any assistance. The Vacasa people treated us as though we were crazy (despite both my husband and I having witnessed what happened) and refused to refund the days we did not use. Innumerable hours have been spent trying to reach Vacasaâs legal and customer complaint departments, but all we ever got was âsomeone will call you back.â My employerâs lawyer could not even get a response. After over a month, I have lost hope. VRBO was not helpful either. Stay here if you want to be terrorized. I will never book through VRBO or rent a place managed by Vacasa ever again.
