Not cute, at all, kind of like staying in a warehouse - sparse and uncomfortable furnishings that were clearly on discount - concrete floors and all. But, great location, felt safe, very clean and amenities were great (we used the pool and gym). Bed in 2nd room was reportedly extremely uncomfortable but main bedroom mattress was memory foam and nice. Texting with “front desk” worked well during business hours but after hours you got AI and it was not helpful at all with info about the property or surrounding area. Rug on floor was a huge trip hazard (curling up on corner), asked for someone to fix, and although promised, never happened in 3 night stay. And of course, as mentioned by multiple reviewers, the process to check in and park (although very clearly explained) is a huge pain. But I was prepared for that because of the reviews. Overall it was fine, 3 points for cleanliness, age and safety of building but would not choose to stay again.

Communicated that we did not have TP, response was, it would be provided in 24 hours. Got some at Trader Joe’s for 3$ and they offered to refund me. I wasn’t worried about the 3$. No hairdryer in the room and the freezer was frosted solid. For what we needed, it was spacious and having the washer/dryer was great. For anyone not comfortable with an online check in/tech heavy process, I would choose a hotel. If you are comfortable following directions and value extra space, this is a great place.

Best place in downtown Austin

We love this hotel/condo. We've been staying here several times and it never dissappoints. It is located right in downtown Austin, close to to all the activities, restaurants, and nightlife! We've stayed here since back when it was owned by The Guild. Kasa does a great job of keeping this amazing place available for guests!
