Property is awesome - felt like home the moment we walked in the door. Our German Shepherd absolutely loved the backyard. She saw her first deer and was absolutely fascinated (we did not let her chase them). A group of 10-12 deer hung out in the backyard on a regular basis. Caution - she did encounter her first skunk - the property is in the country so not unexpected. If you're the cook and 6'0 tall, be aware of the hood over the stove. A wonderful stay, we'd book again in a heart beat.

We spent the winter here and had the best time!

We spent 7 weeks in this cozy home to escape the cold Northeast winter, and it was the perfect getaway. The house was clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the amenities—sipping tea on the patio, grilling in the backyard, and enjoying the serene surroundings.Our 10-pound chiweenie had a fantastic time as well, making friends with the neighbor's dogs through the fence. We were pleasantly surprised by the animals a couple of houses down—chickens, roosters, a donkey, and a horse—giving us the charm of farm life without the hard work! The kitchen was fantastic, and we took full advantage of it by cooking many of our meals at home. The location was also ideal, close to coffee shops, grocery, and restaurants nearby. The area is developing at a fast-pace! The house is just down the street from the highway. We took a few trips to Austin on the train; the station is only a 5-minute drive, making it easy to explore the city.Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay!

Country Home Perfect

We’ve used this home for two Christmas’ in a row now to visit our daughter in the area. So comfortable and the in and out is so easy. We love the place so much we’ve worked in a rotation to have all the kids there next year to make use of all the great setup put back. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was as advertised. We had our annual Thanksgiving and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Back yard is amazing with games and the fire pit. The house was clean and very organized. Highly recommend

Fun for family and friends!

We came to the area for a wedding. This location was perfect. We were close to all that we needed but the amazing backyard made it hard to leave. We loved the fire pit, horseshoes, corn hole and badminton. The house had everything we needed and was well-maintained. Great weekend spot for family and friends.

Perfect Stay

We stayed here while visiting family for Christmas. Besides the fact the owner had decorated for Christmas we loved staying at this home, it’s easy and convenient for anyone needing to be north of Austin, and easy to get to Austin on 183A. The home was perfectly clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook, relax, and even hang out outside. I highly recommend this property. I’ll be staying there every time now we go to see family!

Great family visit

Great property! Pet friendly, but with expensive fee - we paid $200 for two small dogs. Quiet neighborhood. Managed by itrip. This company is VERY corporate in their communication. Multiple notices about extra charges, fees, cancellation you might be subject to for various reasons (including being 5 minutes late to checkout). This was off-putting, but maybe they’ve had trouble with bad guests. This was our first experience with a third party managed VRBO property. Not fans of itrip for reasons stated above, but this property is great.

Very clean and cozy

Great clean house to stay in with your family. And beautiful neighborhood to drive around. The neighbor next door had there dog tied up in the middle of the two houses that barked constantly a bit annoying. So didn’t get to hang outside much.

Extended Family Visits

A perfect property in close proximity to family. Very comfortable and well stocked. Hard to believe we were so close to the city given the country feel of the property. Horses grazing a few properties up the road and deer running through the front yard each morning and evening. Will definitely book this property again when back in town for extended stays.
