Great location, quiet, comfortable unit. The building has nice facilities. Host was very accommodating. Very good value for Beaver Creek. I would stay there again.
Repeat visitor to this property and its exactly what it says it is. The location is its #1 feature with easy access to everything Beaver Creek. Some things to consider though if staying here, 1) parking is expensive enough we took the EPIC shuttle instead (research this to make the best decision), 2) the unit function like a big hotel room versus a condo in that there is no kitchen and the bathroom is the simple vanity/toilet/tub/shower. 3) there is no natural light in the loving area as the bedroom is on the side of the unit with the windo. 4) this particular unit has a draining gutter that you can hear the water dripping in it when the snow on the roof is melting (we didnt like it, so we had to set up our phone to provide enough white noise to drown it out).
Stayed here with my teenage son. Unit is like the hotel rooms at a significant discount. Unit is clean and well stocked. Overall Beaver Creek Lodge could use an update, but great location near the lifts. Not ski/in ski/out but 2 minute walk to escalators to ski valet and easy walk into town. My one complaint, unit could use a little more storage for clothing/ski gear, hooks for wet ski jackets etc. Hotel rooms do have more storage with an armoire in bedroom. Other than that, it was a great stay at a great unit.
We had a reasonably good trip. The main thing that detracted from the trip was poor communication with the manager. I sent him an email about three weeks before the trip asking a question. I then sent another two more emails in the days leading up to the trip because I had not heard from him. I wanted to add housekeeping services to our rental. Then on the last day of our trip I finally got an email response. Luckily we did not have any issues with the door code and nothing came up while we were staying here. However, had something come up, it would have been really troubling if we were not able to get a hold of the manager. The unit itself was as described. The main bed was comfortable, but as expected the pull out sofa bed was not great. We knew that this was likely going to be the case, so we were not that disappointed. Just something to keep in mind. Overall the stay was good. The only negative was the lack of communication with the manager.
I brought my daughter to Beaver Creek, and wanted a location convenient to her snowboard school so we wouldn't have to lug her gear to far. This location was convenient, easy to access, and had the amenities we were looking for.
This was a suite hotel - so not really what you think of with VRBO.
Comfortable bed and nice bedding. Sofa was hard - not comfortable (as a sofa).
Kitchenette was minimal - just 4 place settings, no cutting board or sharp knives.
Wifi not secure. Owner's response was this is because the building used to be a hotel. Hotels I've stayed in over the last 3 years all offer a fast and password protected internet.
2 old TVs with no ability to stream from any service. Only network TV with commercials available. I brought a chromecast with me - but couldn't get it to work.
Distance to lift was more difficult than anticipated. One option - cross the road and walk up a concrete slope and then navigate a small hill (in ski boots not easy). Other option - walk across bridge, up 3 escalators to one lift. I know this fits within definition of ski in/ski out - but it was not as convenient as we'd hoped for.
Very expensive parking ($60 each day).
Great spot in Beaver Creek Village. Just a short walk to great restaurants and the ski lifts. The property has an amazing restaurant on site AND Christiâs Sports/ski rental on the 2nd floor that is also the ski valet!
Would definitely stay again.
This would have been the perfect spot except for 1 small thing, that was Major!! The main reason we selected this location was for the fireplace which was not functional. Wish we would have known that the controls were removed from the room because we had other options. Other than that, it was a great place.
Nice Cozy room at the lodge, about a 8 min walks to the lifts, sleeps 4 comfortably. King size bed + Full size pull out couch. Daily cleaning is additional but needed daily. Would definitely return.
Plenty of room and great location. Having ski rentals and ski valet in the hotel was super easy. We loved being in the Village, lots of restaurants and shopping without having to go anywhere. The room was just like being a guest in the hotel. Clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again.
This place is amazing, exactly what I expected based on the photos and very clean. If you are considering skiing in Beaver Creek, I highly recommend this location. This unit has beautiful views of the mountain and conveniently located steps from the lifts and village. Oliver was very responsive, will definitely book again!
We loved our stay at Oliver's in BeaverCreek. TheLodge is in the heart of the village , yet very quiet. There is a bonus. of having Elk & Antlers in the building, fabulous restaurant.
Please note there is not daily housekeeping and you will to do your own laundry of towels etc.
We highly recommend this unit.
Absolutely fabulous stay in Beaver Creek. Such a nice location; walk easily to main chair lift in the village. We rented from Christyâs on site: super convenient and efficient process. Room was very nice and clean; it essentially like a hotel room with nice seating area and pullout . Nice to stay Marriott through this owner. Would definitely stay again!
The Beaver Creek lodge is a great location to walk to the slopes and shops and restaurants in the village. The property is nice with a heated pool and hot tub. They also have a happy hour with free wine and sâmores for the kids. The suite is small for a family of 4, but we made it work. There is very little storage space. The kitchenette was good for breakfast and snacks. Overall we liked the suite, but it is just very tight quarters for a family. It would be better for a couple.
