Great for families

Wonderful house near the beach with lots of nice extras- hot tub, great kitchen equipment, welcome bags with starter packs of coffee, detergent, sponge, Netflix, beach chairs, etc. Very family friendly.

House was great

Location couldn’t have been better. The house was spacious and had everything you’d need to have a large family gathering. I’ve never seen so many plates, dishes, and cooking things in my life. The hot tub was a nice touch bc the ocean was too cold at the time we stayed. It was a really short walk to the beach and everything you need like stores are a short drive. I’d stay again.

Fun in the OBX

Our whole family - parents, four grown children and their spouses and fiancé -spent a lovely week at the beach. Plenty of room for us all to spread out. Coffee shops, a gym and gift shops in walking/biking distance. Short walk to the beach. We had a lovely time.

Fare Sea Well Family Getaway

As an extended family, 12 family members spent the week at Fare Sea Well. We arrived and the house wasn't completely ready (some bedding was still in the washer/dryer) but house was overall clean. The location to walk to the beach & ocean was perfect. With only two couches, we wished there was more comfortable seating in the living room for all of us. The top penthouse bedroom was perfect with the private deck - as we spent mornings watching the sunrise with coffee. We highly recommend this property.

Family Vacation - Fair Sea Well

The house was much like it is described in VRBO. We enjoyed the open space of the living, dining and kitchen area where all 10 of us could comfortably hang out. The walk to the beach was more like 5 minutes rather than 3 but then we had a 3 year old setting the pace. Avon is a great small town and had everything we needed. We did have about half a day without water because a water main was being worked on while we were there and then had a boil order. Food Lion on Sunday was completely over crowded. Perhaps because of the water problem and the fact that it was raining. Shop early for groceries. Noise and vibration from the living dining room and walking (running) on the decks was disturbing for people trying to sleep on the first level. We have a 1-year-old who needs frequent naps. We also had 2 9-year-olds who couldn't walk softly. A broken chair and a damaged lamp cord created some safety hazard but fortunately no one was injured. Some of the deck furniture was a little wobbly and in poor repair. The outside shower was convenient. The house was clean and had most of what we needed. We brought some of our own towels, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, and dishwasher soap and were glad that we did. There were 6 adults and four children in our group. Once the sun came out we were able to spend many hours enjoying the beach.

Great Family Place

My family really enjoyed their stay here. The living space is open and perfect for a large family. I especially love the top bedroom as an option for parents or older couple to escape from the noise of the lower levels. House was clean and perfect!

Family Vacation Spring 2021

Wonderful location just a block from the beach, we walked out a couple times per day for the entire week we were there. The house was as advertised and pictured. I agree with some of the others comments about supplies - they were either non-existent of cheap but there is a Food Lion very close to the property so we were able to stock up on toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, laundry soap, dishwasher pods and other needed necessities (don't assume they will have it). House could use some deep cleaning, the very thick mold in the downstairs master bath was bad and may be contributing to the moldy smell downstairs when you first arrive. When we first arrived the internet had been kicked off line but we followed instructions on the fridge to call and get help - was back up in 10mins. We reached out with questions a couple times to the property manager and always got a quick response. We loved the big, open, main floor and used the jacuzzi a couple times. There were only 3 of us so we had plenty of space, could see having a 3 or 4 more comfortably. There were three bedrooms that we did not use and one had bunk beds. Overall, the price was right and the location was wonderful, we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay and accommodations. The hot tub was great and well maintained! The only constructive comment I can really contribute was about the provided toilet paper and trash can bags. I get it if that was is my only concern I did not have any real concerns. We could deal with the super thin paper but the trash bags provided for the trash were the same as the thin bags to bag the clean linens. The trash bags were so thin that when loaded I was unable to pull them out from the container. Unfortunately I had to dump the trash directly into the garbage can. I hope you find this helpful. Best to you in 2021!
