Great little place to stay for a Beaver Creek ski trip - very convenient to the Bear Lot. Instructions for registering the car for parking were a bit confusing. Also could use a refresh of the cooking tools in the kitchen. But overall a great place to stay!
The property was very nice, and the location was great, with easy access to Beaver Creek resort. The condo was well-maintained, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. We also contacted the hosts with questions a few times, and they responded almost immediately. The overall experience was very positive.
The condo was very nice. The master has a private bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with coffee and cooking supplies. The location was very convenient to the Bear Lot bus stop which will take you to BC village. The village is super nice. Look for Happy Hours
Stayed here for a ski trip. The condo was as-described and clean, plus it had everything I needed for a weeklong trip. It was also in a convenient location, with it being a very short drive to shops (groceries, ski rentals) and restaurants around Avon as well as being an easy walk to the shuttle to Beaver Creek Resort. Would stay here again.
The condo was nicely updated and was close walking distance to the "Bear Lot" shuttle pickup point at Beaver Creek. The walk to the shuttle pickup/dropoff was about 7 minutes and easy. There was a ski/board locker just outside of the condo door for storage of skis/boards. The reserved parking spot was right in front of the unit stair entry so it was super convenient for unloading/loading. This condo is on the 3rd floor so you will need to go up and down stairs. The interior of the condo was nicely updated with large flat screen TVs, fully updated kitchen, and fully updated bathrooms. Kitchen had all the equipment/pans to cook whatever you decided to bring or go shopping for. A "City Market" store is about a 4 minute drive and has reasonably priced food and everything else. There is a deck with a BBQ which is very convenient for cooking food if not in the mood for going out to eat the whole trip. Beds were OK, mattresses had toppers but they were pretty firm and seemed pretty old. They were comfortable enough, but this was the only semi-negative about the condo. All in all, a very nice stay at this condo. Made skiing at Beaver Creek super convenient.
We had a great stay at this property and enjoyed the space. There were 4 adults and 2 kids and we did just fine with the 2 bedrooms/2 bath set up! The price was great!
Check in was very smooth. Location is perfect. Unit is advertised as completely remodeled condo. The only thing new is a small slab of granite for the kitchen. Everything else seems to be 25-30 years old. Kitchen wear was very old, pillows were so old the property manager took them out of the unit after seeing them. Beds were rock hard. Mattresses were the old style floral print ones from the 80âs.
The fact that the unit was dated was not the main issue we had. Cleanliness and maintenance were the main issues. Utensils had visible food from prior guests on them. The carpets were visibly soiled. When you walked on them there were wet and crunchy spots. We would not walk bare foot on them. Upon inspection of the pillows under the cases, they were severely stained and appeared to be decades old. The kitchen sink was slow to drain. And the biggest let down was no hot water. One person would shower then no hot water for hours.
At this point (night one) we got a hold of the property manager who wanted to send a plumber at 10pm. We had just traveled 10 hours and wanted to wait until the morning. When morning came we were met with hostility and told we had our opportunity the night before. Seven hours later, someone from the property managementâs company came to inspect and agreed the unit was in no shape to be rented. The water hearted in the unit was extremely old upon his inspection. He apologized for the cleanliness and agreed the unit owner has severely neglected it.
I recently stayed for 4 nights in a delightful condo that boasted both charm and convenience. The location was excellent, making it easy to access local attractions and amenities. The condo itself was clean and well-equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home.
This condo was a great find. In a quiet area but less than a mile from fun restaurants and shops. Had everything we needed. We skied Beaver Creek and had the best ski days since weâve been coming to Vail.
Keep in mind I have nothing else to compare to in the area. From what we could tell from the website, it seemed better and bigger but thatâs probably typical for an hotel or vacation spot. Communication and assistance with staff was unbeatable. Parking was perfect right in front. It was great having washer and dryer in the unit. Appliances were perfect. Carpet was stained in places but everything was clean. We had all we needed supplied and then some. It just needs some updates and maintenance but nothing horrible. I wonât stay there again but I may have to pay more. Bed mattresses and pillows are possibly decades beyond needing replaced. Gap between carpet and bathroom tile just covered with carpet remnant. Blinds donât work well enough to block light. Deck was covered with thick snow and ice making it hard to get to grill but manageable.
The condo is small but perfect for our family of 4. Two bathrooms meant minimal wait times. The beds were comfortable and the condo is stocked with enough kitchen tools to make a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and low key place to stay while on vacation.
Overall it's a good place to stay. Quiet location, close to attractions.
Only shortcoming is that the kitchen isn't as well stocked as other places we've stayed. No grill tools for the grill, etc. But certainly not a huge deal.
the property and location is great, but the parking situation is incredibly sensitive with the neighbors. We had a neighbor wake us up at midnight with pounding on the door to move our car, only to find out someone else's car was in her parking spot. We were told multiple times that if we parked in the wrong spot our car would be booted, even though the parking lot was less than 50% full. The property and management team were very helpful, but we left with an unfortunately negative taste in our mouth.
