Stunning view of Lake Michigan

This was our first time vacationing in Michigan and we’ll definitely be back! This home’s lake view from the inside and the deck is lovely on its own. Then you add on the new steps directly in front of the house leading down to the waterfront and it’s just about perfection!

Lovely lake cabin with fantastic view and location. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and was nice and clean. The deck/view/location are amazing! My wife and I both think this is a great lake home and highly recommend it!

Perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay. It was clean, roomy and the location is great. You are 72 steps from the beach! It is 3 miles from a grocery store and you don’t get the Grand Haven traffic. If you still to go to Grand Haven, it is only 15 minutes away.

Lake Michigan Vacation

We had a great stay! The view was amazing. It will be great when the stairs to the beach are installed, but it wasn’t a problem to walk a couple houses down to the neighborhood stairs. It would have been nice to know that the entry road was not paved. The beach was really nice and the area was peaceful. Thanks!

Home was beautiful and clean. Stairs were nice and new to get down to the beach but extremely steep. There was no beach accessories although the home was well stocked with necessities. Down side was check in and check out times. Check in time is at4 which is quite late in the day and check out is 10 am which is super early and non negotiable. I feel for the price and if I’m paying for an entire day (check in) that should be earlier or given more time at check out.

This property is clean, quaint, well-kept and the views are spectacular! I hope that the agency updates the photos and wording and I hope the owners can solve the erosion. As many cottages along Lake Michigan - I hope this one doesn’t succumb to Mother Nature.

Cute lake house.

House was great, you can walk down the steps & literally get in the water of Lake Michigan. There are a lot of steps to get down there so not for someone with walking issues. House is cute, clean & has a great deck to sit out on & excellent lake access. Location is very rural & literally have to drive down dirt roads & hills to get to the house. Nothing serious but I was surprised.

Mid-Spring stay

Great location and views! The house was very clean and comfortable. Views of the lake are fantastic. Updated appliances, however the refrigerator was uneven. The stairs to the beach are actually two properties to the north and are not easily accessible. One needs to walk down two steep sandy slopes to reach the top of the stairs. The beach is great. Good sand quality for making sand castles. The fire pit needs to be replaced as the bottom is rusted out. Did not use it for that reason. Turkeys, deer and black squirrels visited us during our stay.

Nice quiet getaway with private beach and activities nearby

A great getaway that provide a peaceful place to stay, beautiful scenario of Lake Michigan from the back deck, private beach a short hike away and restaurants and activities a short drive away. My teenage said he enjoyed the quiet, peacefulness and the great food (Dockers restaurant was great), while my pre-teen enjoyed miniature golf and renting jet skis. I enjoyed our long bike ride and stopping at the restaurant by the public beach for a nice lunch outdoors. My husband mentioned about everything we enjoyed. We felt at home as soon as we arrived in the house. It was clean, and hard surface floors throughput. The washer and dryer enabled us to keep towels and swim suits clean and we could have easily packed a lot less and washed more. Loved the place. Definitely will keep on our list as a place to go back to visit.

Clean, Comfortable, Beautiful View

We found the house to be clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Check-in and check-out was easy, and the manager was communicative and responsive. The view and deck stole the show! Two things would have made our stay even better. The only way to get down to the private beach right now is to walk to the neighborhood access stairs (which even with typed directions were difficult to locate). However, I know there is a plan to have the home's private stairs rebuilt in the near future. The other thing to be aware of is that the full bathroom is located within the secondary bedroom. The half bath is located right next to it right off the kitchen. If you are traveling with family or close friends, perhaps this would not be an issue. But if not, then you will become close very quickly! All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

We were disappointed in the cleanliness of this place. Glass sliding doors, for instance had some kind of cleaner streaking on it and it made it almost impossible to see out. There was small pieces of miscellaneous trash here and there. Just didn’t feel clean. Also, you should make sure prospective renters know that there is quite a climb down and back up a large dune if you want to get to the beach. Somewhat difficult for older adults. The Unsalted Vacations team were very communicative and we appreciated that!
