The staff are hospitable friendly and very helpful.
The food are a lot better than before. The only down side is there’s no lift but everything else was great.
Dated and tired, in need of a renovation however very spacious rooms. Good selection of tea and coffee in the room. Staff fantastic and very attentive.

Room was well equipped but tired looking - furnishings seemed to have had their day long ago. Very clean - bathroom spacious. Staff were very helpful and friendly - breakfast very good and unlimited. Area around the hotel didn't hold much interest. I was there for a meeting - hotel was fine overall.
Roommates and grubby, stains on walls, fro example by bin where tea bags have been thrown in and it has splashed on wall. Obviously been there for a while as there were lots of marks. Stains visible on walls in multiple other places. Main hallway carpets worn, ripped and had extensive old stains. Not a small amount but common.
Breakfast was like warm and on one day bacon was totally cold, not safe to eat. Every morning the coffee jug was empty.
Staff polite and nice always.
I’ve already reviewed this Hotel any comments still stand except for the lady at the front desk was barking commands at me. It had been a long day and I was tired and felt rushed.
It won’t stop me from booking again in December. I might even bark back.
This hotel is tired and needs a renovation to bring it up to a reasonable standard. The staff need training in communication skills. The check-in process is abysmal and the staff seem to find it too much trouble to check whether guests have already checked-in/paid.The evening menu misrepresents what is actually served to paying guests. We could not eat what was served to us and ended up walking out. So very poor!

Great value.
The hotel is a bit tired and the upkeep and repairs have been very poor. The staff are wonderful and it’s clean, linen is fresh and food is good. There are no switches or plugs for the lights or phone charger beside the bed so you have to get up to access them.
Travelling with my daughter. Room was good. Shower was poor.

Great value for money
Had evening meal and paid extra for full English breakfast. Both were great value for money and well presented. Hotel room had everything needed and we enjoyed a quiet, comfortable night. Staff lovely, helpful and courteous. Wanted to please their guests. Check in was self service but a little difficult due to us having booked though a booking site. Receptionist had to sort out the difficulties. Would prefer a smooth person led check in.Hotel tired in places update in decor needed in public areas but overall good stay and we would return.
It is a lovely property staff are excellent. Food could be better. The rooms are comfortable bath room very good but the main room could do with some up dating over all we enjoyed our stay thank you
