Set in Baiersbronn-Obertal near the Buhlbach Valley, this apartment is a comfortable base for exploring the Northern Black Forest. The area is known for its peaceful surroundings, beautiful nature, and excellent outdoor activities throughout the year. Hiking and mountain biking trails start nearby, with access to more than 550 km of marked routes through forests, valleys, meadows, and lakes. Scenic highlights such as the Black Forest High Road, Mummelsee, and the Schliffkopf nature reserve are all within easy reach.
The apartment is well located for both car travel and public transport. A bus stop is within walking distance, and guests receive a complimentary Konus Card for free bus and train travel across much of the Black Forest region. Nearby destinations for day trips include Freudenstadt, Baden-Baden, and other popular spots throughout the region.
Guests enter the building through a secure smart lock system, while the apartment itself is accessed with a traditional key lock. We offer flexible self-check-in, and guests can enjoy an independent stay while knowing that we are always available by message before, during, and after their visit if any questions come up.
One parking space at the property is available for guests. Other parking spaces on site are reserved for local residents. Additional free public parking is available within walking distance. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, and EV charging points are also within easy reach.
Please note that Baiersbronn charges a tourist tax of €3.30 per person, per night for guests aged 18 and over. A security camera is installed outside the apartment door and monitors the hallway and immediate exterior area only. No interior spaces of the apartment are monitored.
