To Whom It May Concern, Hotel Management,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent stay at your hotel from 11/05 to 11/07. My experience fell far below reasonable expectations for hospitality, safety, and basic comfort. I have outlined the numerous issues I encountered below.
Room Amenities and Condition:
The room was missing basic amenities that were advertised or are standard, specifically a refrigerator and microwave. The furniture in the room was sparse and inadequate. Multiple electrical outlets in the room were non-functional, creating a significant inconvenience for charging essential devices. The bathroom shower contained significant mildew and mold growth, which is a health and cleanliness concern.
Service and Privacy Issues:
I requested and paid for a refrigerator to be added to the room. When it was delivered, it was malfunctioning and froze all of my perishable food items, rendering them unusable. On 11/06, the maid service entered my room without my prior request or consent, which was a violation of my privacy. My sleep was severely disrupted by noisy neighbors on multiple nights, with no apparent intervention from hotel staff. Most alarmingly, during my stay, my vehicle was vandalized while parked in your hotel parking lot. The security of the parking lot was compromised, as there was a significant and persistent presence of homeless and loitering at the breakfast bar. Given these failures, I believe a significant refund is warranted.
