Great place near the highway in transit from LA to San Francisco! Room is clean, parking is easy. 10/10. Remember, itâs a room near the highway, you will ear the noise! For my part, I do not care, I sleep like a baby no matter what, as long as itâs clean.
Weâve stayed here several times, using it as a stopping point on road trips. Itâs nicer than many other Motel 6s, especially the newer deluxe rooms. Although itâs next to the freeway, it has a lovely big green courtyard and even a little vegetable garden. Itâs also a great place to come with dogs.
The room is clean. The staff at the reception is friendly. The parking is good. Cons: I am in room 129 ADA room. The mattress is sub par. The pillows are terrible. The room is less than 100 ft away from I-5 highway and very noisy with heavy traffic. Very poor sound insulation. The motel should provide ear plugs. The Street noise and the AC unit noise together make the restful sleep not possible, which is the main purpose of my stay there.
Parking was easy, some of the steps going to the second floor are loose, could be a trip hazard.Beds are hard, and everything is old.But clean for what it is.Ive stayed here several times. The price was good though.
I was in room 113, which was supposed to be a wheelchair accessible room. I thought that would also mean handicapped accessible. The bed was taller than my rolling suitcase and I could barely climb in (I'm 5'3" and have arthritis). Also the bathroom had a tub with no wall rails to grab onto for stability. There was a plastic shower chair (again without arms), but come on, who is going to sit on a generic chair with their bare body parts? The room looked recently remodeled and was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the heater worked well.
The room finishes are starting to be "run down" in some areas, the front door has a large gap at the bottom strike/threshold, and that allows the freeway excessive noise into the room, among other factors like no insulation in the exterior wall and thin aluminum single-pane windows.
