Les points forts : Personnel et service et confort de la chambre
Midlands mediocre
The room was spacious and surroundings are peaceful. The location is also central for exploring the Midlands.
However no heaters and it was very cold at night. The bathroom was carpeted which is unsanitary. Breakfast selection is poor.
Cheryl and Thembi were so welcoming and friendly. The peacefulness and views just wrap around you and it is just so lovely to sit out on the veranda and let this sink in. Breakfast each morning is good, and access to the property is relatively easy from the N3 highway. Perfect place to stay if you're wanting to do the Midlands Meander.
Rent a vehicle or you're stuck without a convenient taxi service and no uber. You'll have to make plans for dinner and supper outside the facility. The rooms are comfortable, landscape and views are amazing and the owner very hospitable.
Very nice accommodation, with nice friendly staff and good breakfast. Only suggestion is that a flat sheet is provided for the beds as the duvet was far too hot and could not fling it off and just sleep under the sheet.
No complaints with the rest of the weekend accommodation
It was a last minute decision to visit the Midlands, primarily to get into the country for fresh air and to view the Autumn colours --- we were not disappointed. Cheryl was charming and most hospitable and full of knowledge of the area.
Whilst we will look next time for a venue with walks/river frontage, we fully recommend Arum Hill.
