We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was probably the best set up I have seen. They had eggs for us to cook in the morning and their pots and pans were mostly stainless steel so that was much appreciated. They had nice cold filtered water for us also. We enjoyed the pool. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We would stay again
We got in late and left early so didn't get to know the place too well. Its definitely very basic accommodations. Just a sheet on the bed. Its says free breakfast but found out that you have to cook ot yourself and all i saw was eggs and bread. Was tild about breakfast after we left so i thought they belonged to another guest. Id stay again if all you need is a place to sleep or of you enjoy the hostel style place and something very basic.
We stayed for four nights while exploring the area of Uvita. The accommodation is basic but very comfortable and clean. The shared kitchen area is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, and the pool area outstanding. We used the outside area to do a little hand washing and Gaby was very helpful in organising local tours. The property is very secure and safe and within walking distance of the National Park and plenty of eating out options
This was the best stay during our travel in Costa Rica Westcoast. Gaby and Viktor made it the perfect spot for everyone!!! Families, Singles, Couples, Older and Younger.
There are a couple of bungalows on the property. You get a quite big room with A/C. Very clean!
The pool was a goody to cool down.
The outdoor kitchen is shared and you will find all amneties you can think off. Even if you have to get your breakfast for yourself and prepare it. Gaby offers eggs, Toast, coffee and delicious homemade Marmelade. All day long cool and hot water.
And even for the laundry they have a place and some soap.
It's all selfservice, but if you need anything ask Gaby! It's a family business and that how it feels like.
Don't book any tours upfront in Uvita. Ask Gaby! You get great tours for a very reasonable price!
If you are lucky you will see the giant red parrots in the trees at breakfast.
Uvita = only Macow rooms and pool
We loved staying at Rooms and Pool Macaws. It's a beautiful, quaint stay in Uvita. We stayed with our 3 children (13,6,3). The town is rural but that adds to the charm. We walked to the Whale Tale and other places downtown. My kids loved the pool, everything was very clean. We used the kitchen every day and it was so convenient to be able to cook breakfast for the kids and store some dessert for the evening. The room is simple but has everything you need. Check in was easy and the owners are wonderful. They go above and beyond to provide an amazing experience. We would definitely stay again.
Lovely relaxing peaceful home from home. Really well equipped kitchen, Gabby was a very friendly host. Check in easy. Uvita is very spread out, this hotel is walkable to the beach, but there is a lot more to see in the area so I would recommend getting your own transport.
Great place, nice to have shade over the pool, nasty bit of road to get in, and as a w
Waller, it w
As a ways up to the nearest store âSteveâsâ, which is a very very nice store!
Fabulous stay. A wonderful group of international travelers to visit with. Clean, spacious shared kitchen. Nice soaking pool. The AC worked, but only got kind of cool.
