Great group property

We stayed as a group of 10 - two grandparents, two teens, a 5 and 6 year old plus four middle agers, and had the annex as well as the main house. Fabulous house, all very decent-sized bedrooms with bathrooms (great to have one ground floor bedroom for grandparents with mobility issues), fantastic communal spaces - open plan lounge and kitchen (which was very well equipped) and separate living room. Lots of parking and huge garden space, great for Kubb and mini rounders. But the climbing frame/swing set looks very rickety and should be checked/taken down.

Wonderful house in an idyllic location!

The house was amazing from top to bottom! The open plan kitchen and dining room was our favourite, modern and lovely for everyone to gather in. All the bedrooms were so spacious, with their own bathrooms, and all tastefully decorated. The huge garden and outside space was incredible and all beautifully kept, would be perfect for children to play in! The surrounding area was beautiful, so quiet and relaxing. Thank you for making our weekend so perfect and for StayCotswold making booking it all so smooth and easy.

Lovely weekend break

Hill View House is a lovely comfortable property a good lay out to make it a very good social House to spend time with family and friends. All the bedrooms are a generous size and the beds and bedding are of a good quality. The only slight negative was the kitchen although quite well equipped some of the pots and pans could do with replacing also a number of the dinner service were chipped and could also do with being replaced also all the cupboards and draws were so untidy that you had to hunt for things (I know that sounds really fussy but it just makes cooking easier if you can put your hands on things easier)

Beautiful house in stunning location

An amazing house in a fantastic location, easy to get to all the gorgeous villages! we are a group of five friends and it suited our needs perfectly, bedrooms were all gorgeous and spacious and the beds were very comfy. Kitchen was huge with a large Island unit and all the equipment and utensils etc you could possibly need. Would definitely come back again, thank you for a lovely stay!

A festive weekend away with family , 8 adults and 1 dog

We all had a fantastic time at the beautiful property , Plenty of room for everyone, really comfortable. dog loved it as well . Lots of great walks, lovely village pub , loads of great road and trail runs for the more active . Wonderful views across the Cotswold countryside . Very helpful lady came as we first arrived to assist with oven and heating, she also made sure we were all ok and to contact her if we had issues during our stay .Log burner very straightforward to use , with plenty of logs about to use . Overall an excellent property . Thank you .

Perfect

A light filled comfy house. All the bedrooms were a good size and the beds comfortable. Everything felt high quality. Our favourite space was the kitchen, dining and settee area - spacious, comfy with huge windows looking over countryside - and easily accommodated ten people and two dogs. The kitchen was well stocked with every item you could need. The garden is huge! Lots of walks in gorgeous countryside and a short walk to a very lovely pub. We’ve stayed in many Cotswold houses and this has been the best for us.

Awesome stay!

We stayed with extended family for a few days - loved every moment. The property and area were both stunning. The house was immaculate equipped with pretty much everything we needed for our stay, the bedroom layouts with ensuites worked out really well as we had 3 couples and two lots of kids. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place

Great place for a group of friends

We all loved this place. Country walks straight from the door, great local pub within walking distance and convenient for north cotswolds towns and villages. Very well appointed house with comfortable beds, and everything very clean. Booking was easy and communication very efficient. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great house in great location

We stayed at the house for a week. It was spacious and clean and overall we loved it and had a great time. The only few downsides were that there was no cellphone reception in the house, I wish we had known that in advance. The other issue was the mattresses seemed very worn so they were very soft. Lastly the kitchen cookware could use an upgrade. Either than that the house was beautiful in a beautiful calm setting. The big garden was a plus.

Spacious house in a lovely location.

5 couples stayed for the weekend in this spacious house in a lovely location. There were some minor niggles but overall thoroughly enjoyed by all of us helped by having great weather to enjoy the outside. We used the local pub where the food was good and the staff were friendly. The bonus was seeing a barn owl every evening at dusk.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay in this house for a bit of a reunion. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy and the communal spaces great for a group. The garden is amazing, the dogs loved running around and the fire pit by the stream made for a lovely evening. We enjoyed the local walks right on the doorstep and the local pub, it’s a great place to meet in a group and plenty to do in the nearby vicinity. I would definitely come back to this house! Great stay. Lovely house. Great outdoor space. Sitting by the stream very tranquil and peaceful. Good location for visiting Cotswolds. Cotswolds Distillery a great day out and Draylsford. Local pub very welcoming although busy mainly with food bookings. House had everything you need and more although the Aga style cooker was a bit complicated and slow when catering for 10 people

Fabulous

Hill Top House was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils so no need to take anything. The furnishings were of an excellent standard. It was a total luxurious stay so much so that I have recommended it to friends and would not hesitate to return. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Excellent property rural location

Stayed here as a family of 10 and 1 small dog. Plenty of room and well equipped kitchen. Nice to have a separate lounge from kitchen/family area. Bedrooms were all good as was the one bedroom annex. Only two downsides check in is quite late and it’s an early checkout. Annex is away from the main house so if going in the winter and it’s cold and wet be prepared for a walk out in the elements. Would highly recommend.

Exceptional property

The property was perfect for a gathering of close friends plus 2 dogs. Beautiful walks, wonderful local pub, everything you could need at the property too, everything has been thought of. If I were to be picky, then the windows in the kitchen / lounge area could have been cleaned as it spoilt the lovely view into the garden and beyond. It would be helpful to have a tea towel etc in the kitchen annex too.

Great for family get together. Garden not secure for dogs.

We spent a lovely bank holiday with our extended family at Hill View House. The set up worked well for our needs, and we enjoyed the large open plan kitchen with bi-fold doors over the extensive garden and view. Our one struggle was that the garden whilst enclosed, is not secure for dogs and so after ours got onto the road, we then had quite a time keeping an eye on them in the garden which is just so big!
