Great ski in/out amenities. Loved open concept. No lack of warmth with gas fireplace and bathroom heaters. The only drawback was the squeaky floors in the condo above heard in living area, and thankfully not in the bedrooms. We would definitely rebook this Rotten Dog Getaway. Very nice rental especially being pet friendly! For snow skiing it is an AMAZING location, I don’t think you could get any better. The condo is as pictured but unfortunately not as clean as we would have liked. Numerous smears on microwave and fridge when we arrived. The dishwasher had dishes in it and a TERRIBLE smell so closed immediately and didn’t open again. Dishes and utensils in cabinets/drawers weren’t cleaned properly. I bring disposable plates, cups, etc to use for drinks and snacks just in case needed and I don’t cook so we eat out. Bed was comfortable and bedding was nice. Owners have a great mountain rental but cleaning service needs to improve. The owners provide a very nice place and deserve better cleaning. We did enjoy our stay and very nice location near restaurants and attractions.

Too Many Steps

Please allow renters know that there are many steps to the middle codos- Unpacking was very difficult as we had to back into a very dangerous parking area to avoid some staircases- The second bathroom needs updating- Cracked and missing tiles- needs a general remodel - For the price we paid for the rental I would not recommend this property-

Great Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The property is convenient to the ski slopes (although need to walk out the front door and around the back of the building). The condo was spacious and in good condition. This is a great ski in, ski out option.

Spring break family ski trip

Family of 5 (kids 8,10,13). Fit us fine. Beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. Used the crockpot so after skiing we had dinner ready. Kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great and the tv had Netflix and Disney+. Would stay here again. Careful if you have dog allergies, they allow dogs. They have a vacuum so we were fine. Isn’t a true ski in and ski out but a doable walk from condo. The condo is on the east street ski run which is good for beginners. Just beware that run wasn’t open the first 2 days of our trip once they got snow over night on top of them making snow they opened it up. Great location, short drive to sugar mountain ski lodge and 6 min drive to food lion.

Loved our stay in Sugar Mountain, the condo was the perfect size for my hubby and I and our two dogs. It was quiet and peaceful. Perfectly decorated with everything we needed. My only suggestion is black out blinds for the bedroom! Definitely would recommend and return!

Great property with everything you need!

Would definitely recommend this place at Sugar Mountain. Close to great holes in the summer and other attractions. Or just stay in. This condo had all the amenities we needed. Great find! And no kitschy deer heads, bear references or other mountain stereotypes. Great decorating.

Didn’t Disappoint!

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. It was fantastic. We love the fact that we can ski-in/ski-out. The condo overlooks the slopes and it great to watch the night time skiing. Everything was clean. It’s beautiful. We love staying at this particular condo!

Summer Hiking Fun

This location was great. There are a couple of things to be prepared for. There are no black out curtains for either bedroom and there are lights right outside the windows. So bring a sleep mask. The shower handle on the master shower liked to keep popping off, but we figured out a way around that. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and that was very appreciated. We loved the full size washer and dryer. The a/c was fantastic for this menopausal wife. It was a perfect place for us to bring our puppies. I can't say enough about the location. It was right in the middle of all the hiking that we wanted to do. However, I will say there is no real view for this unit. It backs up the slopes and during the winter I would say this would be perfect for ski in/ski out. Lots of storage for your skis and equipment. Overall it met all of our needs and we would go back to this unit during ski season the next time.

Our Summer Break

Property was clean, and fully equipped, as we expected. The property manager was very helpful when checking into the unit, and responded quickly when we needed assistance accessing the streaming service. When we reported a frying pan scratched and unusable, they immediately contracted the owner who approved, not only a a frying pan replacement; but OK'ed the purchase of a new pots and pan set. It was provided the same afternoon. Very impressive!

Amazing Last Minute Getaway

This condo was so beautiful and looked exactly like the photos! It was clean and had all the added touches to make us feel at home. The board games were an added bonus. Our trip was short but this place was worth it ! We will book this again!

Quick ski getaway

Very nice condo. Very clean and updated. Especially compared to the building itself. Could hear people walking in condo above as floorboards pretty creaky. TV does not have typical cable channels mostly just streaming services. Although slopeside, it’snot really ski in ski out. From this unit actually have to walk up then down hill. Not insignificant in ski boots. All in all very nice unit and we’d stay here again

Perfect Stay

The location and decor are perfect. We enjoyed everything about our stay. We also had a sweet surprise from the owner on New Year's Eve when they brought us souvenir glasses, champagne and hors d'oeurves.
