Profitez de ce cottage décontracté et charmant du Maine avec 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain, un salon spacieux et un grand studio king séparé et rénové avec salle de bains. Détendez-vous aprÚs avoir visité le parc national Acadia et le centre-ville de Bar Harbor, à proximité, en vous promenant le long de votre plage de galets privée (disponible uniquement à marée basse). Vous y verrez probablement des phoques, des marsouins, des étoiles de mer et des oiseaux marins. Le lever et le coucher du soleil sont également magnifiques à partir de cet endroit. Un foyer et une table de pique-nique sont situés sur le bord de la propriété, offrant un endroit parfait pour se régaler d'une cuisson au homard traditionnelle du Maine ou d'un repas familial en regardant les bateaux de homard défiler à la vapeur. Un barbecue à gaz est fourni.

La maison principale climatisée offre une sensation de confort décontractée avec un salon séparé avec un coin salon, une télévision à écran plat, une télévision par cùble et un mobilier confortable et un coin salon séparé avec vue sur la mer avec 2 lits de jour personnalisés (parfaits pour les enfants) et une table pour jouer à des jeux ou cartes. La chambre principale a 1 lit King et la 2Úme chambre plus grande a 2 lits Queen. Les deux chambres ont des commodes et des placards.

La cuisine est grande et entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec des ustensiles de cuisine et des plats pour les grandes fĂȘtes. Une grande table de salle Ă  manger et un foyer au propane se trouvent dans la salle Ă  manger. Laveuse et sĂ©cheuse est situĂ© dans la salle de bain complĂšte de la salle Ă  manger.

La maison d'amis climatisée est spacieuse et dispose d'un lit King et d'un futon pour dormir et d'une salle de bain complÚte. EntiÚrement rénové en 2018, ce cottage de style plage offre beaucoup d'espace pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants ou un couple souhaitant profiter d'un espace plus privé tout en passant des vacances en groupe.

La maison accepte les animaux domestiques, mais est soigneusement nettoyĂ©e entre chaque arrivĂ©e d’invitĂ©s.

Check in was easy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The views are to die for. We had a great time kayaking with the seals. Very spacious for large families. The only bad thing was fire chairs were plastic and cracked. Not made for larger people.

Look no further! This property has everything - outstanding views, including sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed walking on the rocky beach and even swimming. The set up is perfect for multi-generational families with the detached king studio and ample gathering spaces in the house. Our host, Nicole was available and responsive for any questions, needs. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Early Season Rental

We are regular visitors to Acadia and stayed at the Ocean Breeze cottage for the first time. We found the cottage to be spacious, well appointed and well cared for. The extra building was perfect for our daughter and SIL. The oceanfront location was very interesting with unique natural features to explore along the waterfront. Views from the cottages and yard are outstanding with beautiful sunsets and many seabirds to observe, along with the occasional seal. The hosts were very attentive to our communications and arranged for kayak rentals (including delivery and pickup). They provided a nice welcome package and very thorough information booklet for the cottage and surrounding areas. The kayaking was great, but be aware that getting them up/down the stairs is a two-person job and we suggest bringing sturdy water shoes for the rocks. The grill, outdoor furniture and spacious yard made a perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking in the Park. Early May is a great time to visit as the crowds are thin and parking within the Park is very manageable. The cottage is an easy 10 minute ride to Bar Harbor. We highly recommend this property for an Acadia vacation. Thanks to Nicole and Kyle for their hospitality!

Quick Getaway

This house was just what we needed for our first trip to Maine. The location, with a great view of the bay and access to the water, was outstanding! The house had everything we needed for our stay. Bar Harbor is a short drive away if you’re looking for a great restaurant. But we chose to eat most of our meals at the house and enjoy the great views!

Private little paradise

What an incredible stay. My friends and I (a group of women in mid 50’s) stayed at this lovely cottage in October of 2024. The landscape was painted in fall colors providing absolutely majestic views. The house is tucked away in a cute little neighborhood cove. Even though there are plenty of neighbors around you feel like you have total privacy because you can’t see a single one. Everything about the home was great and we were all quite comfortable, we had everything we needed during our 5 day stay. A few basic spices in the cabinet, a roll of paper towels, toilet paper and a very well equipped kitchen meant we would have a thing we needed for any meal we wanted to cook. We only needed to hit the grocery store for a few groceries one time and that was on our way in. The cabin was clean, cozy and simply perfect for our needs. The owner was easy to get in touch with and always responded promptly. She has gone to a lot of trouble to equip the cabin and provides a booklet of any information you might need to know while staying there and visiting the area. I cannot wait to get back again

Great house

We were looking for a quiet place to stay, this mostly lived up to that (except the loud lobster boats motoring by early in the morning). The location is great- it wasn't far to Acadia or to downtown. We loved being on the water. We were under the impression that kayaks were available at the house (since they are shown in a photo and the description mentioned kayaking), but found out just before check in that we'd have to pay an extra fee to rent them. Not that big of a deal, just wish the listing had been clearer. We did not use the studio building, so I can't speak to that, but the king bed in the main house was comfortable. That bedroom got very hot overnight (even though it was down into the 40s and we had the heat turned way down so the rest of the house was freezing.) Three stars for cleanliness: not that the house looked dirty exactly, but more like it had been cleaned maybe a week or more before we arrived. Spiders had taken up residence in the bathtub and there were some cobwebs and dead bugs below the vanity. The house is mostly dated, living room furniture looks worn, but the bathrooms are nicely updated. These were small issues that didn't ruin our trip; overall we had a great time - even saw a seal while out kayaking. Note that getting the kayak down to the shore is treacherous with a 90 degree turn down the narrow stairs; you need someone strong. Also at high tide the water covers the bottom few steps so getting in and out is tricky.

Spacious and Comfortable Cottage

Perfect size for a family of 6, mostly adults, to spread out and enjoy together. Wonderful location on Sand Point. Lovely helpful host. Recommend highly for those desiring an authentic Mt Desert Island experience!

My husband, three children and I went to Bar Harbor with my parents. They stayed in the guest house and we stayed in the main house. It was PERFECT! We had plenty of space and enough separation to do our own thing. This is a must stay!

This was the sixth time we have stayed in this house, which has been updated by Nicole in the past few years. We saw porpoises, seals, and a variety of seabirds from the house and collected so much seaglass from the beach. The price has certainly increased and is on the higher end, but the location, house, and guest cottage are excellent

Wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful home on the water. Enjoyed the beach , watching the lobster boats come and go, close to all activities in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Very responsive host! Highly recommend to others visiting the area.

Relaxation in a slice of Paradise

After the passing of my precious mother - was so in need of a quiet, peaceful reprieve. This property was the perfect place to unwind, relax, and regroup. The pictures - even though they are beautiful, simply don't capture just how beautiful this property is. Everything we needed - and more - was provided. The owner's communication was exceptional. Bedding? comfortable. Dishes and cookware? all that is needed Furniture? variety and all comfortable Views? Exceptional!!! Beach? Enjoyable Neighborhood? Quiet and peaceful Truely - we loved every moment of every day at this lovely property. Make your reservations with confidence... you and your loved ones will LOVE this special location - only a few miles from the formal entrance to Acadia NP. The views from the home, the yard, the beach... all breathtaking!!! Sunrise to Sunset... You will remain constantly in vacation-mode in this amazing setting. HIGHLY recommend!!! and - - we will certainly look forward to returning once again! Our heart-felt thanks & appreciation for a much needed reprieve... until next time... A++++++

Great location!

My wife, my 2 dogs and I stayed at this property for 4 days and we loved it! Definitely more house than we needed but we really wanted to be oceanfront and it was so worth it! My dogs loved exploring the beach at low tide. This property is minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia and we had no problem finding our way around. Nicole, the host, was amazing and more than accommodating when we had to change our plans last minute. Would highly recommend staying here if you plan to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Location had more to offer than the aquatic museums and oceanarium! Spectacular wildlife!

We had THE most wonderful time! We saw seals and fish and bald eagles and two mink all while just relaxing on the dock and beach and around the firepit! Everything was just top notch! My husband and I (the grandparents), our daughter, her husband, and our three curious and nature loving granddaughters (7,8,9) did some hikes and many of the touristy things but we all agreed that the house and grounds and beach had so much to explore that we were very happy just being there! Linens and supplies were abundant! We just didn’t want for anything! We’ve already told all our friends about this wonderful place! Thank you thank you for sharing your treasure!

Heaven on Earth

Beautiful View

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The grounds were beautiful and it had an incredible view of the bay. The main house was very clean and comfortable. Additionally, the host took the time to prepare a detailed booklet to provide us with information about things to do in and around Bar Harbor. Very enjoyable and relaxing

The location was great to explore all of MDI or just relax and enjoy the views. The views of the water were fantastic. Everything was as described. Only suggestion was info about the dehumidifier in the guest house—didn’t realize there was one until day before leaving. Everything was comfortable and was a good size for extended family. Nicole had stocked all necessities which made everything easier. We all enjoyed our stay very much and would return. Thank you Nicole. It was everything we hoped for and more!
