The house had great space for family. Check-in was simple. On arrival the space was clean and just as pictured online. The open floor plan with kitchen, dining and lounging was perfect for 9 adults and two children. It was nice to be able to all sit down to dinner on first night at the same table. We hung out together on first floor and it never felt crowded. Outdoor space very comfortable too.

Great house. Walk to downtown

The weather did not cooperate but we did not care. This house would fit a big party but we were just 4 adults. Loved that we could walk to town. Loved how spotless and how stocked this place was. Loved we could stay in a night and have bbq meal. Stayyed in a lot of vrbo houses and this above and beyond. Many upscale hotel touches. Beds were very comfortable....which is very important. The hot tub was perfect for the chilly weather and relaxing after walking.

Getaway at Reminisce

We had a lovely stay with our 2 adult daughters and our dog. The house was very conveniently located - walking distance into town and a short drive into the park. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after hiking. The house is on a main street so there was noise from cars but it was not at all a problem for us. The EV charger was very helpful as well. Diana was very quick to respond to messages and very helpful although we did not need to reach out about any issues during our stay.

Dog Friendly Spring Break

House was exactly what we needed to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Property Management is in the area and was easy to communicate with. Our kids described the house as fancy and we all loved the hot tub after a day of hiking. Being able to walk around town was also a bonus, with one of the best restaurants just around the corner. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

Perfect Home and Location

Absolutely perfect stay. The house is in an amazing location for walking downtown, and for visiting Acadia. Pictures don’t do it justice; the house is even more beautiful. Highly recommend.

Great location for walking to town in Bar Harbor
 close to grocery store.. easy to drive into Acadia National Park!! The house is updated and clean!! Perfect setup for my children and grandchildren! Need covering on the back glass doors for privacy

Fantastic house and great location

8 nights at this very lovely and well appointed house. All was as described in the listing. DĂ©cor is beautiful, very warm and calming. Kitchen and bathrooms all items we needed were there. The beds were very comfortable. The location was fantastic - walk to grocery stores (2!) and many restaurants and easy walk into heart of downtown. We will stay there again on our next visit to Acadia. Highly recommend

Modern, high end accommodations at convenient in-town location

Freshly renovated and modern, this home offers a perfect convenient in-town location, including easy parking, with the all the comforts of a high end hotel. The beds and linens were amazingly comfortable and we are very appreciative that the host made this home pet friendly. Would highly recommend. (Of note, the home is on a main street so there will be some road noise especially in the front facing bedroom. On the other hand, it's around the block to a great pizza place, the supermarket, and zero difficulty in getting out of town and into the park!). Thank you for a lovely getaway.

A short walk to Harbor

Property was clean well-maintained and had plenty of space for people. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but we used the fire pit to make s’mores. had no complaints about this property and they were TVs in most of the rooms. Had some of our greatest memories made in this house!

Very nice house.

We’ll stocked with everything you’ll need. Beach towels for hot tub, each room has individual air/heat controls. Beds were super comfortable with great pillows. Easy check in. Very clean. Walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Easy parking. I recommend for groups. Worst thing I can say is master bedroom could use a luggage rack.

Loved our stay at Reminisce at Bar Harbor

The place was incredibly clean, the beds very comfortable, the fire pit and hot tub area very inviting, check-in seamless, and communication excellent. The only thing I think the owner could consider is luggage stands in the closets, and possibly having a smaller dining table and more comfortable seating in the main “living room”. But these are only minor suggestions for the future. If you’re considering a visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia, this property will not disappoint! It’s very close to Acadia and walking distance to all the town has to offer! There is one caveat that enjoying the outdoor area with a group after 8 pm is a little difficult due to the noise concern and the town ordinance, but during the day and early evening, it is a little oasis!

Good location and lots of room for a large group

This place was perfect for us since we had 9 people in our group and there was plenty of space for all of us. The location was only a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Bar Harbor and you’d walk by restaurants along the way. There was a noise curfew so we didn’t get to utilize the outdoor space at night very much. But we planned on going to bars and restaurants anyway so it didn’t hinder our stay or opinion of the place in any way! The host was easy to contact before and after our stay and was helpful.

Wonderful getaway

We loved our stay at Reminisce. The owners have created a lovely sanctuary that has everything you need for a getaway in this beautiful area. So much to explore and the downtown location was perfect. The hot tub was a bonus and a big hit! Responsive and helpful owners, would love to come back!

Beautiful stay during the Holidays!

This little ( big in space) peace of heaven in Maine was a perfect place to spend the Holidays. The house was stylish, spacious, cozy and the cleanliness was superb. The house is very close to to Arcadia National park. Also, the service was amazing! We highly recommend this place!
