Rude Reception

I checked into 2 hotels in Barcelona on this trip. The first hotel I was a bit early and they said “the room is not ready, but I will check you in, you can store your bags, and us our facilities”. At this hotel a VERY rude reception attendant said “no, no, no, it’s impossible to check in early. Nobody allows it”…and then turned away from me. I really thought I was being pranked. So rude! Otherwise the hotel is very nice.

Love the hotel and especially the rooftop pool. Amazing view! We had the family room for 4 and was so spacious! Comfortable beds. We arrived early and room was not ready so we used the luggage lockers and had access to pool and amenities. Also a nice courtyard area there. The only downside I would say is a lot of homeless etc outside of the hotel but walk a couple blocks down the street and it’s much better. Staff was friendly and helpful and ordered us a taxi for an early morning flight.

Great option close to everything

Nice hotel with good amenities in a great part of town - very easy to get around, minutes from the beaches and Las Ramblas, without being in the overly-touristed areas. Would stay again

Pros: the highlight of the property is the breakfast! Fresh, delicious food and a very attentive staff managing it. We ate there every morning of our 4 day stay. They had yummy gluten free treats for me and by the second day I didn’t even have to ask for them. It was clean and well kept. The staff was warm and welcoming. It was walking distance to most things we wanted to do. Cons: the rooms are humid and warm. We bought fans to use and that made it bearable. It is located next to a homeless shelter and a police station around the corner. Though we didn’t feel unsafe…it wasn’t exactly a pretty part of town.

Modern hotel close to La Rambla as well as the waterfront. Roof top pool and bar were a great way to cool down at the end of the day. Staff was helpful pointing us in the right direction and making sure our stay was comfortable.

Very poor service

Very rude and unhelpful staff. When we asked for late checkout the staff literally laughed in our face and didn't even ask for our room number. Air Conditioner didn't work the entire duration of our stay. Tiny gym without any dumbbells. Avoid.
