Staff is super friendly. The room was clean but there were some issues. Such as the toilet was leaky in room 202 and it kept making noise all night. The AC was not working, I tried opening the wondow but it was loud outside. Showers are designed horrobly and water leaks out on the floor outside. Location was great and accessible.

I was pleasantly impressed by Catalonia La Boqueria. It's a hotel which was recently bought by Catalonia Chain. It's been refurbished step by step without any noise. On arrival we have been offered by Riccardo (host at the reception) an upgrade for EURO 15/day to the renovated room, which we gladly accepted. Room was completely new, modern, beautiful and very comfortable. Riccardo and his colleagues were very professional and friendly. Despite the fact that hotel is located on a busy street, we didn't hear any noise, since the new windows are completely soundproof. Hotel is located basically in the middle of Las Ramblas between Placa de Catalunya and an Old Port. Very busy touristic area.
