Confortable et bien situé

C'est un hôtel qui offre les prestations d'un 5 étoiles: propre, spacieux y compris dans une chambre de base, lit refait chaque jour, salle de bain impeccable, conciergerie 24H/24... Nous avons particulièrement apprécié, en plus de ces services, la décoration chic, moderne tout en étant sobre (petit bémol pour le fauteuil de la chambre un peu dur), l'accès internet pour tous dans le hall d'entrée avec imprimante et papier mis gracieusement à disposition (ce qui nous a permis de réserver nos entrées à la Sagrada Familia sans faire la queue), la disponibilité et la discrétion du personnel et surtout un grand lit qui n'était pas fait de 2 matelas mais bien d'un très grand matelas très confortable avec 4 oreillers et plusieurs petits coussins: c'est important après nos journées passées à visiter aux 4 coins de la ville! L'hotel est d'ailleurs idéalement situé, à 10 mins de la plaza de Cataluna, près du Passeig de Gracia avec ses magasins et ces bars à tapas. Ce que nous avons moins aimé: le dernier jour nous devions repartir très tôt pour l'avion mais les petits déjeuners n'étaient servis qu'à partir de 6H30: c'était un peu la course, dommage. Nous sommes grands et la baignoire nous a semblé un peu petite.

Parfait

Parfait. Emplacement très central. je n'ai pas pu me faire rembourser la nuit du samedi au dimanche. Auprès de qui puis-je le faire ?

Short pre cruise stay!

The hotel was in a great location and was really nice but we'd booked a large room with a rollaway bed to our daughter and when we arrived they hadn't noted this. Checked 3 people into a small room with one double bed!?! We had to wait a while for them to find the spare bed and bring it up. It left the room a bit of an obstacle course. Wardrobe and drawer space was very limited. It was ok for 3 nights but if we'd been staying longer it would have been a problem. Also, there is a terrace that can be used by all guests. It was right outside our bedroom window. So we couldn't open our curtains. We normally stay at the Hilton and would probably do that next time. But it was really convenient to all the shops and main square. And the staff were friendly.

Gute Lage freundliche Mitarbeiter

Mineralwasser im Kühlschrank und ein "Bettmüpferli" auf dem Nachttisch sind geschätzte Aufmerksamkeiten. Ein superfeines Morgen Buffet mit frischen Beeren und was das Herz sonst noch begehrt. Gut gelegen Shopping und Kultur in nächster Nähe. Etwas wenig Platz um die Kleider aufzuhängen und persönliches einzuräumen. Dachterrasse kompensiert den fehlenden Balkon.

lovely room, good location

We had a lovely spacious room with a view to the Sagrada Familia.The reception and cleaning staff were all v friendly. The restaurant was closed in the evenings until 1st June but we had not intended to eat in the hotel anyway so it was no problem to us. The sun terrace and pool is quite small, but again this was no problem to us as we were out most of the time. The hotel is a short walk to the main square and La Rambla and Gracia(one of the main shopping streets) quite close to the metro stations. So if you are`nt worried about being close to the beach and Port Olympic it`s in a good place. All in all its a good place stay if you want to shop and sight see. Its not a particularly attractive building(just an ordinary business hotel feel to it). Ideal for a city break.

Hmmm

Good staff and helpful . Quite warm for the time of year and extremely disappointed with the stuffiness of the room . The aircon didnt work and found it detrimental to the room ambience . Would have found it dificult to stay there mid summer . Free bar consists of a bottle of San Miguel between 2 !!
