Room was basic and bathroom tiny. Staff on the evening seemed keen to get customers to pay bills and leave. In the morning, breakfast was regimented with a 30 minute window to clear your table. Fancy another cup of tea or coffee? Then you would have to pay extra!

Room was lovely. Didn’t like the fact we only got 30 minutes for breakfast. Felt rushed and not at all relaxing. A continental breakfast along with the cooked would have been nice. Coffee was just instant-not great.

The room furniture was dated and past it's best, wardrobe door did not close, the whole unit was out of alignment and it was very heavy to lift front right hand corner in order to close door. the foot/dressing table stool appeared unsafe, one leg was insecure, one of the 2 allan screws was missing and the others were not fully tight. Reception and Evening Restaurant (when Phil was on duty ) were as usual excellent.

Stayed a Sunday night in the annex rooms across the courtyard so be prepared to bring your coat to go to the restaurant in the main building for breakfast. Buffet breakfast was hot but some ingredients ran out and weren’t replaced very quickly. Pleasant staff and the room was quiet, clean and well maintained. Would stay again if in the area.
