The room was clean. But, it would of been nice to have a TV in the bedroom instead of the living area. Also, the TV didnât have local tv channels or local stations.
Property is convenient to lots of great restaurants but is akin to Motel 6 in many respects. We arrived at 2pm and were told that if we "needed early check-in" the fee was $50 per hour!!!! We had to waste an hour waiting to check in. Room was very utilitarian except for very strange auto flushing toilet with heated seat and lighted bowl which flushed repeatedly for no apparent reason. Still, price was reasonable for the area.
Loved the convenient location and outside lo outside look. The kids loved the heated toliet seat. But inside could be fixed up a bit. Had brown hair on pillows and in the sheets. We are all blonde.
The accommodations were well thought out right down to charging station at bedside. Heated toilet seat was a nice surprise.
Only thing missing... full length mirror!
The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. The staff spoke broken English which ruined the beautiful Americana aesthetic of the Rocky Mountains, very disappointing!
Easy check in, no problems with booking through the 3rd party (Expedia). Room is spacious, has fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Towels and all that plenty. Cute, and in the center of the downtown (although I didn't go anywhere, I saw it on the drive in and on the map). Would recommend.
Stayed here with some friends the night before an adventure in the Maroon Bells. We checked in late, and everything was set out for us and easy to access, and parking was available. The room was comfortable, and we had space to set out our things and repack. Sleeping was quiet and cool. Very walkable to a nice downtown with restaurants.
For the price and location, this is a good option in Basalt. Itâs next door to many local restaurants. The hotel is older and could use some updates. However, the staff was kind during check in and check out.
