Took a ride on the toilet seat. Cold water from the sink was very slow. Extractor did not work in the bathroom. Very hot and steamy in there. Great customer service.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Didn't try the evening meal offerings as there is a good variety of restaurants nearby, but the breakfast was good. The room was clean and well equipped but a bit stuffy in the summer heat. Would stay there again next time I have work in the area.

The hotel is convenient to get to the town centre with just a short walk. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Only downside was a car alarm going off for an hour or so, but was no fault of the hotel. I believe they contacted the owner of the vehicle. The only thing I think would have improved my stay would’ve been some air conditioning. It was exceptionally hot, but I guess we don’t have that many days in the U.K. where it’s unbearable.

Well placed hotel. Superficially clean in the main areas of the room. Well decorated. Reception staff very happy to help with an issue with my kettle. Breakfast staff excellent. To be fair I was forewarned there may be noise from an event but I was placed in the room above the wedding and my headboard was vibrating (and not in a good way!) from the music. It was just below other local hotels but sadly I’m very tired for the next stage of my journey. Sad because it would have been a good budget hotel otherwise.

We had to take our dog for surgery nearby and the staff in this hotel were so kind and compassionate with 2 woman who were very tired and anxious. The room was exactly what we needed, the twin beds were clean and comfy and the bathroom/shower was very refreshing
