Please skip this rental. The hosts are complete nightmare. Upon arrival,I was made aware that the oven did not workâŠ.and then I discovered that the electric stove did not work either. I contacted the host immediately, and they responded by telling me that their electrician said it work two days ago. I explained that I turned all the burners on but still no heat. They suggested if I really needed a stove top I could by a hot plate in town. Also, the ac in the master was not working. Told them about this , and was told to check circuit breakers and I kinds of run around. I checked the breakers and they looked fine. I am not an electrician and was not about to be flipping switches in a foreign country. The host stated that the electrician can come out in 3 days. At that point, stated that I was on vacation and could not deal with all these problems, so I would have to find another place to stay .We stayed one night shared rooms because it was tooo hot to sleep in the master, and you cant leave the windows and doors open due to the monkeys. We left the house the following morning. Once the host looked on her cameras and saw that we rented the house next door, they became upset and petty. They harassed me every day for me to cancel the rental because I made them lose money. I contacted Vrbo , and they stated that the host must cancel. They kept inboxing stating that the would charge me for every day I did not cancel. Vrbo got me my refund. Please trust the negative reviews.
