We are a couple of Americans on Holiday in England. While searching out for places to stay, we just couldn't find something that wasn't tiny/ expensive/ etc. until I found this one. It's a bit spendy and parking is a few blocks away, but it has a spectacular view through the one window, it's across the street from the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey, the 2 most important sights in the city. There are plenty of shops and street vendors.
Parking we found about 4 blocks in the Southgate Shopping Center that is a large below ground garage with security and about the same price as other lots. We drove to the building, dropped the bags and parked the car and then took the car out when we went out for the day -Cardiff & the Castle not far.
The apartment was stocked with some goodies and fresh bread/ butter, etc. Very clean, there are 3 skylights that bring in lots of light, but you might want to use the remote to mostly close the bedroom one when there are longer days so you don't wake early to the sun. It is very roomy with nice TV/ living area, good size kitchen/dinning.
It is on the 4th floor -the roofline, and the elevator stops on 3 so there the last floor is by stairs. We didn't find it an issue and we had lots of luggage. We don't understand European laundry machines, it took 4 hours to do a load + dry
The Bath takes 3 hours to tour +/-, and is one of the best Roman museums -most is underground, The Abbey is worth some time too.
Loved the place & you will too
