Clean and tidy from the moment we walked up to the hotel, greeted by the lovely Gerry (hope I remembered the right name!) Room and Staff were lovely, polite and welcoming. Great room, great hotel, great location. Yes a little bit more expensive than others but worth it. The only slightly down side was the ‘optional’ service charge at the end. I appreciate it goes to the staff but mentioning the door man, who did literally nothing during our stay. Actually he did talk to the concierge and to somebody with a dog outside the main entrance. I’m sure the hotel would run fine without them.
