Booking Confusion and No Refund Despite Diagnosis

I had a booking and needed to make a change, so I was asked to call them. When I called, they couldn’t assist with the room change, and I was under the impression that my booking had been canceled. Later, I was diagnosed with cancer and didn’t notice the emails regarding my booking. By the time I tried to cancel, it was too late. They refused to offer any refund, even after I explained my situation and provided proof of my diagnosis.

Amazing location. Very close to Woolies/Coles and other shops as well as dining options. Petrol station within walking distance. Motel room amenities very helpful for a family (toaster/microwave/plates/cutlery etc. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy. Hotel rooms suitably renovated.

Spotlights

Of reasonable comfort but wouldn't stay again. Verandah security lighting excessive, curtains didn't block completely so brightness disturbed me the entire night across top 10cm of curtaining. Vanity poorly lit and intrudes into room space external of impossibly tiny bathroom. Nevertheless nothing helped my sleepless night!

We took a group of 25 children and adults and were worried about how we would go. It was charming with good facilities I can honestly say that we especially myself had the best sleeps there. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable and it was very clean. We had the facilities to prepare our own meals and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall... we were very pleased with our stay. We did not like the shower over the bath, making access difficult. Amenities were great, all appliances also! But, personally I did not like the square basins... difficult to clean , and the dining table was a bit small. But... would recommend due to location and cleanliness and Quiet., and lovely staff. thank you, M. Gleeson
