Very old part of town, so small roads--I don't recommend bringing your dually pickup. We walked the area & everyone we met was very friendly. We enjoyed looking at the eclectic collection of homes and Mardi Gras themes people had set up in yards and on porches.Patrick was a great host and very responsive to our questions. I just wish we'd had more time to explore the area.
When people say "pictures don't do it justice" this is phrase is so accurate for our stay at Bungalow Lane, Baton Rouge! The host was very prompt in responding to inquires, the place was clean, well described, and perfect for our needs. The neighbor is so quaint and quiet, the location was perfect to the convention center downtown. Thank you for help making our short little trip effortless and memorable!
This was a cool little apartment above a garage or hobby house. Private entrance and charger for our Tesla, which was great. Every night I walked around the neighborhoods and walked over to the capital building and the grounds which are absolutely awesome and I must visit if you come here. Patrick was great to work with and the beds were clean and comfortable. This is a perfect place for us for four days. Lots of little restaurants within walking distance. Safe neighborhood.
I was in town for a seminar and to visit family and friends. Patrick is one of the BEST host Iâve ever encountered. Upon walking in it felt like home, the property is very cozy, clean, safe and beautiful. If this unit is available, I highly recommend that you book it.
We are from BR and travel back to visit family fairly often. We usually stay with family but after finding this place, we have our home away from home. It's perfect for my wife, dog, and I to have a place to ourselves when the family festivities are over and we need to unwind. Patrick was super responsive and everything in the apartment was great.
Location was great and getting to Tiger Stadium for the Alabama-LSU game was just fine as long as you plan ahead for traffic. Would recommend to anyone coming to visit Baton Rouge.
I'm originally from New Orleans and really have a bad impression of most of Baton Rouge, until tonight at least. I really can't put into words how this area and the people are completely different than most of what I've experienced here, but I felt like I was back in Uptown New Orleans again.
The property itself, area, and host were all amazing and very helpful. Only issue we encountered was a pushy Uber driver who got us for triple the fee we paid to go downtown on the same trip back. He insisted on the car we let him in to use the bathroom so I asked if he wanted anything to eat.
We told him there were cameras and we couldn't have additional guests to which he left pretty quickly lol.
Property was so cute, clean and the people were so nice. Only caveat is if you have mobility issues, this is a second floor unit and the steps are steep. This is made obvious in the ad.
Patrick was very prompt and polite with all communication and I highly recommend. We were two women walking alone all the way downtown and never felt uncomfortable. That's a first!
Apartment was super cute and totally perfect. Location was great and the owner was super nice and quickly responded to messages. Iâd definitely recommend staying here and will try to stay here for any future travels to BR.
We were in Baton Rouge just for one night. Patrick's spot was perfect for us! We loved the location and the fun vibe of the area. We took a nice Walk the next morning around the capitol and really enjoyed our brief time in Baton Rouge!
The stay exceeded our expectations. The place was extremely clean, quaint, and very cute. The host communicated very well and accommodated our special requests. I highly recommend staying here.
Cute 2 bedroom in the Spanish District right next to downtown and easy access to LSU games. Nicely furnished and was everything we needed for our stay.
This quaint Spanish apartment was perfect for our weekend stay. It very clean and we loved the cute character. We also enjoyed how walkable the area was and how close it was to LSU.
The owners were very polite and informative and were quick to respond. We will definitely return.
From the moment we clicked book, until the moment we arrived- the owner and property surpassed any expectations! The place was easy to find. Parking was a breeze. Communication was open and the responses were sufficient!
Unloading and loading took almost no effort! It was on the second floor where stairs were required- (the property owner was very informative about it) but we navigated easily with our old lady pup!
The home itself is clean, cozy and a little slice of history! You can see the character all around you. The size was small- but still felt spacious! Perfect for a small family!
This was a pet friendly stay- and you could not tell pets were there!!!
If we ever have the opportunity to make it to Baton Rouge again- we will definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!!
