Welcome to Bay Top Lake House in Bayfield Wisconsin, a fun and relaxing 3,200 sq ft vacation home rental located approximately 1 mile North of beautiful Bayfield with over 300 ft of shoreline, large deck on the scenic shores of Lake Superior. Life is good when you stay at Bay Top Lake House!

When you walk into this vast vacation home you will first be taken away when you see a large octagon shaped main living room area with amazing views of Lake Superior, a large stone fireplace, piano area, and comfortable chairs to just sit and look at the lake. Just off the main living room area you will be welcomed to both the spacious kitchen and dining room area or you can walk out on the 1,200 sq ft deck to catch the sunrises and to relax.

This well cared for vacation home consists of a first floor master suite with king bed featuring views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands and en-suite bathroom. A large walk in closet completes the master bedroom. There is a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed with lake views located on the bottom floor walk out basement area of the home. A second bathroom with a tile shower is located just outside the 2nd bedroom. A third sleeping area with 2 twin beds also enjoys views of Lake Superior.

The 2nd level walk out basement area is an entertainers dream as it also has views of Lake Superior. Enjoy time sitting in front of a 2nd large brick fireplace or in the pool hall playing piano or a game of pool. The 2nd level also hosts an additional kitchen plus a separate TV room and a pull out couch.

Wander the 3+ acre parcel of land and enjoy the natural beauty of the lake, hardwood and evergreen trees and occasional sightings of Bayfield area wildlife. Enjoy a peaceful Lake Superior getaway only minutes from the attractions, shops and restaurants in downtown Bayfield, WI.

Winter stays will require a 4 wheel drive vehicle as our driveway has an incline and snow isn't removed daily.

Security Cameras In Use:
Similar to most vacation rentals, we have security cameras on the property. One is located at the corner of the home facing the driveway. In addition, we have a Ring Doorbell located at the front door and one at the back door on the basement level facing the lake.

All guests must sign a short term rental agreement which will be prepared after obtaining the following information from the guest upon booking: 1. Legal Name 2. Address 3. Cell phone 4. Email address (it will be sent for electronic signature via DocuSign) 5. Name of all guests

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Take all garbage and recycling to the blue bins by the garage. Bins may be locked to prevent bears from getting in. Owner will provide key to lockbox.
Pull all dirty towels and linens (including comforters) in the linen bags provided and place by the front door. We launder them off site. Do not leave outside.
Make sure all dishes are clean and put away. Remove all food from refrigerator. Kindly notify us of any damaged items or things that need repair.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Guests are required to sign a Short Term Rental Agreement. All guests who will be staying must be listed on the Short Term Rental Agreement.
No parties or events shall be hosted while staying with us. Maximum of 6 guests. Smoking is not allowed in the home or on the property.
Late check outs are not allowed. If late checking out, an additional fee of $395 will be charged.
