The property looks great but it is lacking in a few areas. I stayed in room 9 and I found that the mattress to be very uncomfortable, you can feel the springs through the mattress. The lighting in the room was not effective enough even with the lights on and the toilet was barely suitable, I’m slim myself and I couldn’t use the toilet comfortably as the toilet has been squeezed in between the wall and the bath. I couldn’t fault the staff and I didn’t use the bar or have breakfast at the venue due to my working hours but looks very nice. I wouldn’t rush back to the hotel as I’ve stayed in more comfortable hotels.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. However, our beds are all new and therefore the mattress are all in good condition, often being complimented by the guests, which you may see in other reviews. The lighting in the room is adequate for the bedroom, providing sufficient lighting for the guest. The bathrooms are all adequately sized sized for the occupancy of the room, neither too big or too small. However, thank you for your compliments regarding the bar and restaurant. Please communicate with the staff in future so they are able to assist you during your stay.

Good evening Ms Theresa The comments you had made about our hotel room, staff member and the hotel facilities are very pleasant. Mr Theresa, all of our rooms have heating and are appropriately regulated for the weather conditions but we do have spare portable ones in which if required guest can have free of charge. All of our hotel rooms follow a designed description to each size rather single/double/twin or family. Regarding to your perception of our members of staff I can guarantee you that, at any circumstances it was meant to be rude. We do not have phones at our rooms but guests can call reception from their own phones at any time because our reception does have a 24 hours service. Ms Theresa, the fact that we do not have a lift, can be easily be noticeable due to our building be one of many exquisite ones in which the authorities do prefers the building not to sufferer any major changes from its original structure. Regards, Joana Lemos Front office.

Bed and shower too small

Pros: Location
Cons: They need to go to hospitality school and learn how to treat their customers as if they are not a burden
Location: Near the train station, nothing interesting to do nearby
Bed and shower too small, no 24 hour reception then you have to phone the hotel too be let in.,, the women staff seem to be treated as second class humans

Good morning M Anonymous, The bed you had got in the room you pre-paid through the web site for your reservation, does explains the type of room as single/double or king bed. In which you had got the bed size from the booking you had made and our beds, do go with the sizes requirements. All of our En-suites, also follow the room descriptions.Regarding to your comments on how to treat guests, we are a business that value the guests needs and wants as a priority to meet and excide their expectations. So, it is with great disappointment that such comments towards our members of staff are made because we never get such comments before and we can only assume that you are being unfair in your words. Our hotel does have a 24-hour service but after certain hours the main door is looked but it is clearly informed to all of our guests that a number will be displayed to any situations. Rather to come into the hotel or any other need that it may occur, at any circumstances we do not leave our guests without assistance.Your comments regarding to our members of staff, seems to be very appalling as we do no what exactly you are referring to? When you stated that “the women staff seem to be treated as second class humans”! We treat all of our members of staff fairly and ensure that they are comfortable with their job role and able to accomplish each task that is given to them. In which in some cases require extra training but at any circumstances what so ever we do treat our members of staff as second-class humans. Are you aware that such comments can be taken higher and you would have to respond in court with valid prof of what you had just stated against our hotel on a public web page. You are presenting false allegations and maybe it is why you had decided not to present yourself and face the possible consequences of such appalling comments.
