May not be the place for you. very disrespectful property manager. Big families beware!!!!!!!

Nice place, but micromanage the whole time the soft host /property manager (John) is his Name is very negative person he threaten me got in my face pointing his finger in my face yelling at me in front of my kids and family. Because I advised him that the security camera over the front door is facing in the children’s bathroom.and I had my emotional support dog with me for my PTSD, so I asked him to keep his dogs from running freely so his dogs and my dog are safe. he got loud and angry, and went to violently yelling and, pointing in my face, He informed me that none of the security cameras work on the premises. later came back harassing my guests telling them that you would have to be standing on the toilet to be seen on that camera after I was advise it didn’t work. it’s a very nice place but John the property manager. not so well. We paid all that money to be able to relax and enjoy our time on the water with our family every day for the four days I was there he was showing up on his golf cart with his dogs morning and night. I have PTSD and have my dog with me and it is irresponsible for him to keep coming over with his dogs off leash and that just set him off. He told me that he was angry with me for having visitors when nowhere in the contract says I cannot have visitors over I’m not talking about overnight guests. Payed for 11 guests never had more than 10 stay the night.

Riverhouse Christmas

Spectacular views of the river and the sunset from any room of the house. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for kayaking and boating. We loved the property and highly recommend it for a family get away

Perfect piece of property on the Suwannee River

So much to do and the perfect place to do it! Boat ramp on site which was convenient. Everything you need is there! House is beautiful and spacious especially with the bungalow. Owners are super nice and so easy to work with!! We will be back!!

Suwannee/Bell wedding weekend

This house was immaculate, the property was right on the river and it was so relaxing & beautiful. Little special touches were seen everywhere. The property owners were outstanding and responding instantly to every request. From the minute we entered the house we fell in love with the area and view. We look forward to planning another trip to the area and would definitely book this house again.

Lovely Thanksgiving on the Suwannee River

We had a lovely stay at this well appointed and gorgeous home on the Suwannee River! There are two beautiful master suites on either end of the house and a large living room/kitchen with an attached porch which was a great area for the family to spend time together. The middle bedroom was setup with 4 bunkbeds (3 singles and a double) and had a bathroom in the attached hall. There was an attached bungalow available for an extra charge which provided a queen sized bed, bathroom, and kitchenette that we decided not to use. The property was great with a dock and boat ramp available for our use! We were so happy to be able to enjoy the holiday with our beloved family pets! Our hosts were so friendly and responsive! We highly recommend this stay for a Suwannee River getaway!

Home Away From Home!!

Our stay was fabulous!! The location is perfect and the home is beautiful and perfectly appointed. I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals and I would have to rate this one the best yet. You are well back into nature on a lovely stretch of the Suwannee, but also close enough to get to the main road quickly. All the sitting area springs are also very close in all directions. It was extra awesome having John and Mary close by just in case you need anything. It was a pleasure getting to know John as well and we cannot wait to head back to that way ASAP. Thank you for the best mini vacation ever!!

Great Family Vacay!

The property had all we could have hoped for, and then some! We had plenty of space to be comfortable without being on top of each other. The added space of the bungalow made it a perfect fit for our family of 12 (6 Ad/6kids). The owner was very gracious and helpful with anything we needed. And we all loved his daily property visits with his pups! Probably the only thing that took us aback were the county dirt roads leading out to the property. Keep thinking our GPS was leading us astray, but it wasn’t. Because of recent heavy rains, roads were filled with ruts and potholes when we arrived, but trucks came out mid-week and worked on them. Travel in and out was much better after that! All in all, a VERY pleasant week with the fam in a great location!

Near the river

The house is great and very confortable. I love the view on the river, I enjoyed taking my breakfasts on the terrasse, watching the wake up of the river, listening to the birds and looking at the squirrels playing. In the evening, having a drink and watching the sunset were precious moments after a day in the amazing springs close to the house ( 30 or 40 mns driving). Listening to the noises of animals in the night (full moon) was also very interesting and fun. The only problem was the wi fi. Streaming is not allowed and the wi fi very low. I was with students from universities who were supposed to take some classes and tests on line, so 2 of them had to leave 1 day before the end of the stay.

Awesome stay

My family had a great time at this property. The home was perfect and had everything you would need for your stay. Mary and John met us right before arriving at the property to guide us in and go over some details about the house and area. We also arrived to homemade cookies which were a nice gift that our children quickly devoured. The view of the river was beautiful. We spent a lot of time at Ichetucknee Springs which was a short drive away. We also brought our puppy who had a blast exploring the woods and nearby area. We used the grill and fire pit for dinners and smores and overall had a fun, relaxing getaway. We couldn't have asked for a better place to vacation and enjoy the nature around us.

Peaceful Suwannee Retreat

Stayed here with extended family for a weekend - simply wonderful. Lots of activities to keep the kids (and adults) entertained and interacting. Stunning views of the river. Lots of wildlife; even deer on our final day. Home is immaculate; John & Mary are the best hosts and even left a delicious pan of homemade brownies to greet our family. One of my favorite VRBOs by far. (It isn't mentioned, but the home does have filtered water at the kitchen sink, so you really don't need to bring bottled.)

Excellent family spot

We had a "delayed Christmas" during our stay in January and it was an amazing place for everyone to get together. From hiking to relaxing (and everything in between) this was a great spot. Well appointed accommodations (with even a blender and crockpot in the kitchen) made cooking for the familly so very easy! Many thanks to John & Mary~
